The Kampar District is a district in Perak, Malaysia. It was a district on 21 May 2009 after the Sultan of Perak declared Kampar the state's 10th district, which is the smaller district in the state. Its local government is Kampar District Council based in the town of Kampar. Historically, Kampar District was once famous for its tin, being one of the major tin producers in the 18th century. In the 19th century, Kinta district was famous for its tin. It was the number one tin producing valley in the world.

    The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan is a clock tower in Teluk Intan, Hilir Perak District, Perak, Malaysia. It is the Malaysian equivalent of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. The tower is slanted leftward, similar to the Tower of Pisa. It is 25.5 metres tall and, from the outside, looks like an 8 storey building, though inside it is actually divided into 3 storeys. The tower is located in the center of a square surrounded by Jalan Pasar, Jalan Selat, Jalan Bandar and Jalan Ah Cheong.

    The Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia occupying an area of 712.18 square kilometres . To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan; to the west, it shares part of its border with Perak. Situated at the northwestern tip of Pahang, the “Camerons” is approximately 90 kilometres from Ipoh, roughly 200 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur or about 355 kilometres from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. It is the smallest municipality in the state. Surveyed by geologist William Cameron in 1885, the outpost consists of three mukims , namely Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Ulu Telom.
