Kasterlee is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Kasterlee proper, Lichtaart and Tielen. On January 1, 2006 Kasterlee had a total population of 17,908. The total area is 71.56 km² which gives a population density of 250 inhabitants per km². The town is twinned with Plaffeien.

Fall is our most favorite season, and the people of Kasterlee, Belgium know exactly how to celebrate the arrival of Fall with their yearly Pompoenregatta! Kasterlee, located in the Antwerp province is one the largest pumpkin producing regions in Belgium. Every year, the Kasterlee Kayak Klub and the Pumpkin Society organize a festival purely dedicated to pumpkins, and their pumpkin kayak racing competition is one of their largest events. Gigantic pumpkins are hollowed out and used as kayaks and participants of all ages take part in this fun and festive race.

Revolution front seat on-ride HD POV Bobbejaanland

Only two of these Vekoma Illusion indoor dark coasters were ever built, but this is the only one left. The other was Chaos at Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee and operated from 1989 until the park closed in 1997. The coaster was then sold to Premier Parks (now Six Flags) for a planned park in Indiana that was never built and the coaster was scrapped.

Indiana River front seat on-ride HD POV Bobbejaanland

Bobbejaanland is the only park we've visited that has two Intamin log flume attractions. Featuring three drops, the biggest being 33 feet tall, this indoor dark ride was built in 1992 - a dozen years after the outdoor log flume opened. We didn't film the outdoor one, but much of it can be seen in the Bob Express on-ride POV video we posted:
