    The Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque is located in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. It is one of the largest mosques in Russia and is officially known as The Heart of Chechnya .The mosque is named after Akhmad Kadyrov, the mufti of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and the first president of the Republic of Chechnya, who commissioned its construction from the mayor of Konya. The mosque design with a set of 62-metre -tall minarets is based on the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. On October 16, 2008, the mosque was officially opened in a ceremony in which Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov appeared and spoke with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.   • 5. Lake Kezenoy-Am Chechnya
    Lake Kezenoy-am is the deepest lake in the Caucasus Mountains, mostly in Chechnya but partly in Dagestan in the Russian Federation. It goes through Andiyskiy Khrebet . It is situated at an altitude of 1870 m above sea level and fills an area of 2.4 km². The maximum depth of the lake is 74 m. In winter the surface of the lake freezes and in summer the water temperature is around 5 °C. The lake water has a year-round supply of oxygen in which plankton survive. Salmo ezenami, a rare species of trout, are native only to the lake; however, their population is threatened with extinction due to the introduction of European chubs which consume the fry of the Salmo.
