KA CHONG WATERFALL (Khao Chong) in TRANG, THAILAND!
One of the biggest attractions in Trang Thailand! You simply cannot visit Trang and not see these falls!
This title is actually a little misleading. We only explored 1 of 3 Ka Chong waterfalls availed to us in this beautiful botanical garden. It began that way due to us being unaware of their presences, but after the fact we realised it is probably better this way.
We made our way down the the main waterfall, but it was dry season and it was just a case of admire and walk around, which is cool, but we wanted to play!
Rainy season would make the main waterfall a lot more appealing.
The falls we spent the day playing in and hiking around didn't seem very impressive at first, but with some testing and then an all-out GO-FOR-IT, we discovered you can safely slide down every level!
So our wisdom for any of you going to check this place out:
- Take water and sunblock.
- Hike through the river downstream and you will find secluded pools and oases; pick one to relax in and perhaps picnic?
- Take shoes you can use in the water.
- Slide down all sections of the waterfall! It's awesome! (do so safely and at your own risk of course.).

Travel Laos - Tour of Buddha Park in Vientiane
Take a tour of Buddha Park in Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
About 25 kilometers outside of Vientiane, Laos lies Buddha Park, a fantastically bizarre sculptural garden.
The park was designed in 1958 by a priest-shaman whose vision was to fuse the religions of Buddhism and Hinduism.
Over 200 Buddha sculptures, monuments of Hindu deities, and many other mythical creatures adorn this vast garden.
Visitors can symbolically ascend to heaven up a stairway through the mouth of a 10 foot demon sculpture; from the top of which the entire park is visible.
Although the park is full of religious statues, it is not classified as a temple but rather the incarnation of one man's religious vision.
A visit to this quirky and surreal sculpture garden makes for a memorable day in Laos.

Phatthalung's Thale Noi Lotus Lake is world-famous, and for good reason! Some of the spectacular array of flowers only bloom once every 10 years! How amazing is that? What's more amazing is that we were fortunate enough to explore the lotus lake at the perfect time; yup, we saw them!
Phatthalung's Bamboo market is an obvious must-see, but we would highly recommend getting there early, wow does it get packed!

If you have very little time, but still want to know some of the best things to do in Thailand, we suggest visiting Thale Noi.
