City Description:
Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. Its modern skyline is dominated by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. The towers also offer a public skybridge and observation deck. The city is also home to British colonial-era landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.Kuala Lumpur is also known for its shopping and dining, with options ranging from large malls and contemporary restaurants to shophouses and food stalls. The Golden Triangle area’s Bukit Bintang district offers designer boutiques, luxury department stores and glitzy retail and entertainment complexes. Small, colorful shops dot Brickfields (Little India) and Chinatown, whose art deco Central Market houses numerous craft sellers. Malaysian arts and history are on view at the National Museum and the Islamic Arts Museum. At the city’s northern edge is Batu Caves, natural limestone caverns housing Hindu temples.
Weather and Events:
As a major city, Kuala Lumpur is a year-round destination, but it can be extra-busy (and many shops and restaurants close) during Chinese New Year (Jan/Feb, dates vary) and towards the end of Ramadan (dates vary). The tropical weather is hot and humid year-round. The rainy monsoon seasons are Apr–May and Oct–Nov, but rain is possible at any time. Other key holidays include the Hindu festival of Thaipusam (Jan/Feb).

About 13 km north of KL a towering limestone crop is home to the Batu caves, a popular Hindu shrine in a huge cave. 8 km more to the north is the Orang Asli museum. This museum gives a good introduction to the customs and culture of Malaysia's aboriginal people. Amazing people who live(d) in a peaceful, harmonious, creative and artistic way. Their spirit is still resonating in Malaysia. This spirit you can experience in many ways, when travelling through Malaysia. Highly recommended if you want to know more about the true spirit of this great country.

Langkawi is a large island, about 500 sq. km, close to the border with Thailand.

Pulau Pangkor is the white-sand paradise per excellence. And has also a wild, unexplored jungle.

Ipoh - Tourist Attractions in Malaysia
Ipoh /ˈiːpoʊ/ is the capital city of Perak state, Malaysia. It is approximately 200 km (125 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur and 130 km (81 miles) south of Penang on the North-South Expressway.
Ipoh developed into one of Malaysia's main cities around the turn of the 19th century due to the booming tin mining industry. During the British colonial era, Ipoh was Malaysia's second city for administrative purposes. Architecturally, the city centre is characterised by Straits eclectic shop houses. There are several impressive historical buildings from the British Colonial era such as the Railway Station, the Town Hall and the Court House.
Trying Out Pottery in Kuala Kangsar
Not far from Perak’s royal town of Kuala Kangsar, in the district of Sayong, is the center of a unique cottage industry specializing in the production of earthenware jugs, the labu sayong, another of Perak’s famous contribution to Malaysia’s traditional craft heritage.
