The old town is full of restaurants, boutique shops and narrow cobblestone streets. It is also home to the Nestle headquarters, Charlie Chaplin Museum and many other renowned sites.
During our tour, you'll see how the people of Vevey come together for an outdoor food truck festival and enjoy a Sunday afternoon together by the lake.
You'll also see the Alimentarium Museum through the eyes of a child as the girls take you on a personalized visit.

Day Trip to Lausanne Switzerland!
Introducing fabulous Lausanne, the Olympic Capital!
Join us as we guide you through the city while you enjoy some pretty breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the Swiss and French Alps. Along the way we visit the Lausanne Cathedral, Place de la Riponne, Old Town, Flon and Ouchy.
Lausanne is 30 minutes from Geneva and about 3 hours away from Paris and Milan via high speed train. It's very central to the French-speaking part of western Switzerland and a great launchpad to explore the neighbouring Swiss Riviera.
Along the way we also visit an amusement park where the girls brave a soaring ride and give you a bird's eye view of the city below.

You will be able to discover its flowery quays which extend on a length of 3 km, from the landing stage of Vevey-Plan to the Castle of La Tour-de-Peilz, behind which hides the delightful port which one reaches by skirting the castle, his romantic steamboat rides, Charlie Chaplin's Statue on Vevey's Embankment, reminding us that the artist lived 25 years at the Ban mansion in Corsier sur Vevey, and a magnificent cruise on a Vevey steamboat in Montreux, from Villeneuve to Saint Gingolph, a dream tour .... where you will discover exceptional landscapes, not forgetting the Château de Chillon, architectural gem tight in the most beautiful setting that can be imagined - Lake Geneva and the mountains.

Welcome to Vevey -- town of images. In the heart of the Vaud Riviera, close to Montreux.
Vevey is very well integrated into the transport network. The train station is situated on the Lausanne -- Sion line. A town bus service as well as a trolleybus line can be availed of for regional travel. Additionally, Vevey is also connected to numerous communities bordering the lake via passenger shipping.
Vevey is the largest district of the Swiss canton of Waadt with almost 20,000 inhabitants and it is the second largest town of the agglomeration of Vevey-Montreux which has roughly 70,000 inhabitants altogether.
As an important educational centre in the canton of Waadt, Vevey possesses all of the educational levels up to the Gymnasium school [grammar school]. As a leading educational establishment, schools of applied arts, vocational and private schools are also present.
Some of the characteristic bourgeois and patrician houses from the 17th to 19th century have been preserved in the old town. Narrow alleys and fountains decorated with flowers complete the middle age image of the town
