    The Big Muddy Badlands are a series of badlands in southern Saskatchewan and northern Montana along Big Muddy Creek. They are found in the Big Muddy Valley, a cleft of erosion and sandstone along Big Muddy Creek. The valley is 55 kilometres long, 3.2 kilometres wide and 160 metres deep. The valley was formed when it was part of an ancient glacial meltwater channel that carried great quantities of water southeastward during the last ice age. In the nineteenth and early twentieth century the Badlands formed the northern end of the Outlaw Trail, a series of trails and stopping areas utilized by outlaws in the American West spanning from Canada to Mexico.     Cape Bonavista is a headland located on the east coast of the island of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is located at the northeastern tip of the Bonavista Peninsula, which separates Trinity Bay to the south from Bonavista Bay to the north. The nearby town of Bonavista takes its name from this historic landmark.     The Ryan Premises is a National Historic Site of Canada located in the town of Bonavista, Newfoundland and Labrador. It is preserved as an example of a large-scale merchant operation in a Newfoundland outport.The site consists of the proprietor's house, a carriage shed, a retail shop, a retail store, a fish store and a salt store. The staff house, adjacent to but not part of the historical site, is a Registered Heritage Structure. Earlier, the premises also included a larger salt store, a cooperage, a powder magazine, a telegraph office, wharves, fish flakes, a lumber yard and a shipyard.

The site commemorates the life and achievements of William Richard Motherwell, Saskatchewan's first minister of agriculture and federal minister of agriculture for the Mackenzie King government. The homestead's fieldstone house, called Lanark Place after Motherwell's previous Ontario home, is modelled after similar farmsteads built in Ontario. The homestead is surrounded by a shelter belt. The 3.59 hectares farmstead, in addition to the main house, includes fields defined by fences and shelter belt shrub and tree lines, and agricultural buildings.     Claybank Brick Plant was a brickworks factory for the manufacturing of bricks from clay located with a quarry for clay on site. The Claybank Brick plant has been conserved as a part of Saskatchewan's industrial heritage with its official announcement June 29, 1997 as a National Historic Site of Canada by Minister of Canadian Heritage Sheila Copps. $2 million for the conservation and presentation of the Brick Plant by Claybank was contributed jointly between Federal and Provincial Government funding departments.
