1. Triglav National ParkSlovenia Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It was established in its modern form in 1981 and is located in the northwestern part of the country, respectively the southeastern part of the Alpine massif. Mount Triglav, the highest peak of Julian Alps, stands almost in the middle of the national park. From it the valleys spread out radially, supplying water to two large river systems with their sources in the Julian Alps: the Soča and the Sava, flowing to the Adriatic and Black Sea, respectively. You will be padling through a flooded underground mine while admiring incredible underground lakes. First you will board a genuine mining train which will take you deeper into the mine. Then you will receive all the necessary protective equipment such as: neoprene boots, a life jacket and a mining helmet. You will enter a flooded underground shaft and board your special kayak that can hold up to three people. With the help of a professional guide you will explore the underground labyrinth, submerged tunnels and excavation sites. At the end you will take a walk past the abandoned underground working sites to the mining train station. The mine has a constant temperature of 10 °C. Visitors are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and walking or hiking shoes. After a real miner’s lunch, the train will take you to the mining museum
