Montecreto is a comune in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 60 kilometres southwest of Bologna and about 50 kilometres southwest of Modena. Montecreto borders the following municipalities: Lama Mocogno, Pavullo nel Frignano, Riolunato, Sestola.

This is an alphabetical list of the 8,100 Italian comuni which existed following the 2009 merger of Campolongo al Torre with Tapogliano to form the new comune of Campolongo Tapogliano, and the redesignation of Rivanazzano as Rivanazzano Terme. 2. Castello di Torrechiara Torrechiara
Torrechiara is a frazione of the comune of Langhirano, in the province of Parma, northern Italy. It is especially known for its massive castle, built by Pier Maria II de' Rossi , count of San Secondo, between 1448 and 1460. The building was thought not only as a defensive structure, but also as mansion for the count's lover, Bianca Pellegrini, for which a famous hall, the Camera d'Oro was built with decorations by Benedetto Bembo, sibling of Bonifacio Bembo. Scenes of the 1985 film Ladyhawke were shot at the castle.

Poco lontano da Castelluccio, lungo il percorso che conduce al Santuario di Madonna del Faggio, si trova il piccolo borgo di Tresana, luogo di villeggiatura di cui è apprezzata la caratteristica edilizia montanara.

DA NON PERDERE:

- Il percorso da Castelluccio al borgo di Tresana, passando per un sentiero immerso nella natura che permette di visitare il Santuraio di Madonna del Faggio.

CURIOSITA':

Le ortensie, qui fatte crescere, nel periodo della fioritura colorano tutto il borgo di rosa, viola, bianco e azzurro.
