Peapack-Gladstone is a borough in Somerset County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 Census, the borough's population was 2,582, reflecting an increase of 149 from the 2,433 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 322 from the 2,111 counted in the 1990 Census. It is part of the New York metropolitan area, as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. 1. Bushkill Falls Bushkill
Bushkill Falls is a series of eight privately owned waterfalls, the tallest of which cascades over 100 feet , located in Northeast Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains in the United States. Beginning at the headwaters of the Little Bushkill Creek, the water descends the mountain, toward the Delaware River, forming Bushkill Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Bridesmaid Falls, Laurel Glen Falls, Pennell Falls, and three additional, unnamed falls.Bushkill Falls is a popular spot for hiking and birdwatching. The area features a variety of trails and bridges that vary in length and difficulty.

2. Natirar Park Peapack Gladstone
Natirar is an estate spanning 491 acres in Peapack-Gladstone, Far Hills and Bedminster, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. Its name is a reverse spelling of Raritan. The complex was built between 1910 and 1912. In 2003 it was sold by the estate of Hassan II, late King of Morocco, to Somerset County, New Jersey, and is now administered by the Somerset County Park Commission. Approximately 90 acres of the estate have been leased to develop that portion of the estate into an exclusive hotel, spa, restaurant complex.

May 5, 2013. Major Taylor Cycling Cub of New Jersey ride out to Peapack/Gladstone. A perfect day, 65.5 miles of perfect riding... with one exception: this self-important grinch. We stop at the side of Lake Rd, a public highway next to Ravine Lake, to admire a bald eagle -- the national bird of the United States of America -- and someone in a black Mercury saloon with NJ plates LKZ 27K flips the bird at us and then claims that we are on his road. It seems to be a New Jersey state government vehicle (but maybe he was working weekends -- who knows?).

I guess it takes all kinds. Wait a mo' -- he said I used to live on this road? So sad.

I was simply videoing the bald eagle and stunning surrounding lake landscape; I caught this incident purely by accident. Sorry that you cannot see the eagle better -- there's no zoom on the Contour ROAM (great camera tho').
