Perth Hills is a term used primarily for marketing purposes to identify that part of the Darling Scarp and hinterland east of the scarp, that lies within the Shire of Mundaring and the City of Kalamunda, and as part of the constituent bodies belonging to the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council of Perth, Western Australia.     Tourist Drives in Western Australia are routes through areas of scenic or historic significance, designated by route markers with white numbers on a brown shield. Tourist Drives were introduced into Western Australia while Eric Charlton was the state government Minister for Transport in the 1990s. The 28 numbered routes collectively traverse more than 2,000 kilometres across the state. In addition to the Tourist Drives, there are unnumbered routes such as the Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail, and local governments may designate and maintain local scenic drives, generally unnamed and unnumbered.

    Gooseberry Hill National Park is a national park in Western Australia, in the locality of Gooseberry Hill, 21 km east of Perth. It is at the southern side of the mouth of the Helena Valley on the Darling Scarp. Statham's Quarry is located within the park boundary. The park was named after a hill in Yorkshire by the early settlers. A walking track and the single lane bitumen zig zag drive are both found within the park. The zig zag drive follows the old zig zag railway track which winds up the steep terrain, offering excellent views of the Swan Coastal Plain below.No entry fees apply to enter the park but no facilities are available to visitors.

    Greenmount National Park is a national park in the locality of Greenmount, Western Australia, 22 km east of Perth. It is one of the smaller National Parks along the Darling Scarp and is a component of the Darling Range Regional Park. Due to its proximity to John Forrest National Park, which used to be known as Greenmount National Park until 1928, and relationship to subsequent reserves to the south it is a vital scarp wildlife corridor. Bus tours were available from Perth in 1933 with the Hill's Bus Tours offering passengers a tour around the park on Sundays in September.
