Our Eurocamp Holiday - Les Ecureuils Campsite, Vendee - France
I decided to film one day of our holiday at Les Ecureuils Campsite in Vendee. This video gives you a pretty good insight into what a normal day on holiday is like for us! Take a look inside Eurocamp Official kids club, check out the swimming pool and a little of what there is to do in the area.....
This site was not a picture-perfect French resort and the site was small but we were very impressed with the fantastic facilities, wonderful staff and just how much there was to do for kids in the area within walking distance (beach, circus, fairground, water park, mini golf, go-karting) without it feeling overly-tacky. There's no fine-dining here but again, the quality of the food was absolutely fantastic. Always homemade and plentiful and reasonably priced too. I had my doubts about this place before we visited (thanks Tripadvisor) but it ticked so many boxes for us and I'd definitely recommend to others - perfect if you'd like to tie-in with a trip to Puy du Fou too......

There are many mobile homes to rent in south of france as this kind of holiday has become very popular
in the last number of years.
There are many sailings from the UK and Ireland to the northern parts of France. From there you would have approx. a 10 hour drive to the south of France. Having a car is very handy if you wish to explore the region or alternatively you can
fly into the many airports available to that particular region.
The nearest airport is Vias Bezier airport approx 10 minutes from the site, making mobile home holidays in France a
real pleasure.
Other airports you can fly into are Montpellier 45 minutes to vias, Perpignan 1 hour, Carcassonne 1 hour, Girona Spain 2
hours, all are approximate times.
One, two and three week camping holidays are very popular in the South Of France, but can get booked out very fast.
