This characteristic farm is located in a rural environment in Zoelen in Gelderen. along the Amsterdam Rhine Canal. The foundations of the farm date from the 18th century. around 1730. The vestibule of the farm is furnished as a holiday residence. Here you will find many old fashioned details. such as the old water pumps and beautiful barns.In the rear part of the house. on the mezzanine. you will find an artisanal nut pressing shop. In the barn next to the farm there is an apple juice factory where people throughout the country can have their apples and pears pressed.The lovely Betuwe landscape is varied and offers plenty of options to experience country life. You can walk or cycle on winding dikes and you can take the ferry across the river on foot or bike. On the way. you can enjoy the fruit trees. characteristic villages and numerous historic forts and castles.The blossom time is one of the nicest times of the year. Then the landscape is at its best and you can t miss a cycling excursion along babbling rivers and blooming orchards.You should also visit the historic towns of Tiel (3.7 miles) and Culemborg (11.2 miles). The town of Tiel. with its historic city centre. many shops. the Flipje and Jam Museum or the annual Fruitcorso in September are certainly worth a visit.In the fortress town of Buren (4.3 miles) you will find historic buildings. city walls and museums and you will be transported back into times gone by.A 27 hole golf course is located a few kilometres away from the farm. as is the Zoelen forest with its castle.

3 dagen verken ik de Schotse Hooglanden. De stad Inverness wordt ook wel de hoofdstad van de hooglanden genoemd, vanuit daar ga ik hiken, dolfijnen spotten met een RIB, kanoën, fietsen, een cruise maken over Loch Ness, whiskey proeven en natuurlijk.... de kilt van een heuse Schot omhoog tillen...

VLAGTWEDDE – Ondernemersvereniging Vlagtwedde viert haar 100-jarig bestaan met een grote Voorjaarsbeurs, die vrijdag 6 en zaterdag 7 april plaats vond in sporthal De Wischmei in Vlagtwedde.
Vandaag kwamen er op de Voorjaarsbeurs al veel bezoekers een kijkje nemen bij de ruim dertig stands van ondernemingen en organisaties uit Vlagtwedde en omgeving. Ook waren/zijn er diverse demonstraties en proeverijen. Rond 15.00 uur zaterdagmiddag was er een modeshow van LiRoJa Fashion.
