Sint-Oedenrode is a town in the province of North Brabant. Sint-Oedenrode is a moderately urbanized town, located in the Meierij of 's-Hertogenbosch. Sint-Oedenrode had a population of data missing in 2017 and has an area of 64.94 km2 . On 1 January 2017 Sint-Oedenrode, together with Schijndel and Veghel, merged into a new municipality called Meierijstad creating the largest municipality of the province North-Brabant in terms of land area.The municipality traditionally had vrijheidsrechten , since 1232, until the abolishment of the privileges and introduction of the Municipalities Act in 1851. Safaripark Beekse Bergen is the largest wildlife zoo of the Benelux region and provides a home to approximately 1,250 animals from over 150 species, varying from small mammals to large birds. It is located between the cities of Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek in the south of the Netherlands. The visitors can for instance watch zebras and giraffes on the spacious savannahs. Safaripark Beekse Bergen offers the possibility to explore the park on numerous safaris: walksafari, carsafari, bussafari and boatsafari. The park is owned by the company Libéma Exploitatie BV, which is one of the largest leisure-related companies in the Netherlands.
