Mompox depends upon tourism, fishing and some commerce generated by the local cattle raising. It has about 30,000 inhabitants, and is adjacent to the municipalities of Pinillos and San Fernando.     Morro da Igreja is a peak situated in Urubici, a municipality of the Santa Catarina state, in southern Brazil. Its latitude is 28º07'31 S and its longitude is 49º29'38 W, with an elevation of 1,822 metres , the highest inhabited point and the second most elevated of this state. This peak registered the lowest temperature in Brazil: -17.8 °C , on June 29, 1996. It is considered the coldest place in this country; tourism is popular in the winter, when snowfalls can occur. The Brazilian Air Force has a military base on the summit equipped with radars and radio relays for air traffic control of the Brazilian Southern Region. There is a curious natural formation in this area, called Pedra Furada , and it can be spotted from the peak.

    Barquisimeto Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. It is one of the most modern cathedrals in Latin America, considered original in style. Designed by Jan Berkman, it was his first major project. Its exterior shape is an upside down flower, with a bell tower external to the building. It is located on Avenida Venezuela between Avenida Simón Rodríguez and Calle 30. Considered to be advanced engineering for its time, it was completed in 1968. This unconventionally-shaped cathedral is a hyperbolic paraboloid with two wings connected by a central tower. It required extensive structural precision.
