This video is about An old and historic city Abohar and legacy of Paanch Peer. The story of paanch peer and their wives dated back fifteen hundred years. This place was called Aabu Nagar and ruled by King Hari Chand. King Hari Chand was suffering from unknown skin disease. Royal Physician told Hari Chand about Paanch Peers Multan and suggested that their divine horses can cure him. Daring daughter of King Hari Chand went to Multan and managed to steel said horses of Paanch Peers. But meanwhile King Hari Chand scummed to his illness. Meantime Paanch Peers reached in search of their horses. Daughter of King Hari Chand refused to return divine horses. Angry Paanch Peers cursed her destruction. In between Wives of Paanch Peers reached. Paanch Peers got further angry and cursed their wives too and left for heavenly abode. Since than Shrines of Paanch Peers and their wives are laying nearby in Abohar.

Baba 'Major' Singh, a Nihang, a traditional Sikh religious warrior, wears an oversized 425-metre-long traditional turban at Anandpur Sahib, Punjab.
Anandpur sahib is a city and a municipal council in Rupnagar district, Punjab, India. Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib is a gurudwara which is the main attraction at Anandpur Sahib and is one of the most important sacred places of the Sikhs. This city is strongly linked and connected to their religious traditions. Because of its rich historical and religious significance, this city is called the city of 'spiritual or holy bliss'. Religious celebrations like Holla Mohalla are celebrated every year in the month of March. Anandpur Sahib is considered to be the second best religious place for the Sikhs after the Golden Temple at Amritsar. The city is situated on the lower spurs of the Shiwalik hills, surrounded by beautiful and colorful natural scenery, which serves as a natural attraction to the gurudwara. One can see the river Sutlej forming a beaming and lustrous blue border on the south west, barely 4 miles away. The Takht Sahib is a nice square hall with a balcony in the front overlooking a spacious courtyard on a lower level.
Anandpur Sahib was founded near the ruins of an ancient place, Makhowal, by the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, in 1665. The legend goes that on May 13th, 1665, Guru Tegh Bahadur went to Bilaspur to attend the mourning of Raja Dip Chand, the founder of Bilaspur state. The Dowager Rani Champa offered to give the Guru a piece of land in her state and guru Tegh Bahadur purchased it with a payment of 2200 rupees to the Raja of Kahlur. That land consisted of the villages of Lodhipur, Mianpur and Sahota. It is then that the Guru raised a new domicile on the mound of Makhowal. The ground was then broken down by Baba Gurditta Randhawa on June 19th 1665. This new village was initially called Chakk Nanaki, after the name of his mother. The place later came to be known as Anandpur Sahib. To save Anandpur from outside threats, Guru Gobind Singh constructed five forts around the town and joined them with earthworks and secret tunnels. The construction was started in 1689 and took over 10 years to complete. In this place, Guru Gobind Singh, baptized the first five Sikhs called the Panch Pyaras, the five beloved ones, who had offered him their heads to uphold Dharma, creating the nucleus of Khalsa.

Paonta Sahib Gurudwara on the bank of river Yamuna
Paonta Sahib is a small industrial town in the south of Sirmour district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. National Highway 72 goes through this town. It is an important religious spot for Sikhs. Major industries are cement production (Cement Corporation of India, Rajban), power generation and renewable energy, pharmaceuticals (Ranbaxy Pvt Ltd, Mankind Pharma, Zee Laboratories Limited), textiles (Malwa cotton and spinning mills of Oswal group), chemicals and food. Some of the major Hotels and Resorts to stay there are Hotel Guru Surbhi, Hotel Yammuna.
The city has a large Gurdwara, named Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, on the banks of the river Yamuna. The river is the boundary between the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
The town was founded by Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh. The Gurudwara Paonta Sahib has linkages to the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh and the Sikh leader Banda Bahadur. Its original name was Paontika. Paon in Hindi means feet and tika in Hindi means became stable. It is believed that Guru Gobind Singh and his horse stopped at this place and he decided to stay here. He wrote many Sikh religious books here and then went to Anandpur Sahib to establish the Khalsa Panth. The Gurudwara also houses a museum which contains a lot of antiques and weapons used by Guru Gobind Singh during his stay.

Tarn Taran Sahib a city in the Indian state of Punjab. It is the district headquarters and hosts the municipal council of Taran Taran district.
History
Tarn Taran Sahib was founded by the fifth Sikh Guru Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji (1563--1606). He laid the foundation of Sri Tarn Taran Sahib Temple.
Tarn Taran Sahib Was Part of the Bhangi Sikh Dynasty Ruled by a Powerful Sikh Family of Dhillon Clan From 1716-1810)
In 1947, the year of the Partition of India and the Partition of Punjab, Tarn Taran was the only tehsil (district) in Punjab along with Shiekhupura, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Hoshiapur, Kapurthala, Amritsar, Lyallpur, Patiala with a majority Sikh population. The city was a center of the Sikh insurgency during the 1980s and early 1990s. Tarn Taran Sahib was suggested as the capital of Khalistan, the proposed Sikh independent nation. The main occupation in this area is agriculture and agroindustry with very few other industries.
Tarn Taran district was formed in 2006. The declaration to this effect was made by Captain Amarinder Singh, Ex-Chief Minister of Punjab, during the celebrations marking the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. With this, it became the 19th district of Punjab.
