1987 Great Storm damage at the Hyde, Handcross, Sussex
A few days after the Great Storm of 16th October 1987, Roger Ray and son, Laurence, drove around the drive of the Hyde estate in Handcross, Sussex to film the damage to the trees on an early video camera. The VHS tape appears to have degraded in the meantime with green colour bleeding.

Slaugham Twinning trip to St Martin des Besaces, Normandy 1989
Members from the Slaugham Twinning Association visited St Martin des Besaces on Friday, 18th August 1989 for the weekend and they were met in the village square by their hosts.
