    The Chao Phraya Dam is a barrage dam in Sapphaya District, Chai Nat Province, Thailand. It regulates the flow of the Chao Phraya River as it passes into lower central Thailand, distributing water to an area of 11,600 square kilometres in seventeen provinces as part of the Greater Chao Phraya Irrigation Project. The dam has sixteen 12.5-metre gates, and its construction took place from 1952 to 1957.

    Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is the second daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.Her full ceremonial title is Somdech Phra Debaratanarajasuda Chao Fa Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Rathasimagunakornpiyajat Sayamboromrajakumari , which was bestowed upon her on 5 December 1977. Thais commonly refer to her by reducing such title to Phra Thep, meaning princess angel. Her title in Thai is the female equivalent of the title once held by her brother, King Maha Vajiralongkorn. The Thai constitution was altered in 1974 to allow for female succession, thus making her eligible for the throne.Having been the eldest female child of the royal family , her position was comparable to a princess royal.

It is also a tourist attraction that has beautiful scenery.     The Ubol Ratana Dam , formerly known as the Phong Neeb Dam, is a multi-purpose dam in tambon Khok Sung, Ubolratana District, approximately 50 km north of Khon Kaen, Khon Kaen Province, Thailand. It was the first hydroelectric power project developed in Thailand's northeastern area of Isan. The dam impounds the Nam Phong, which flows into the Chi River and thence to the Mun River, a tributary of the Mekong River. The dam was given its current name by royal permission in 1966, in honour of princess Ubol Ratana, the eldest child of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

    The Pa Sak Jolasid Dam or Pa Sak Cholasit Dam impounds the Pa Sak River at Ban Kaeng Suea Ten, Tambon Nong Bua, Phatthana Nikhom District, Lopburi Province, Thailand. It is the biggest reservoir in central Thailand.The 4,860-meter wide and 36.5-meter high dam is earth-filled with an impervious core. The storage capacity is 785 million m3 of water at normal water level, with a maximum capacity of 960 million m3. The dam also supplies about 6.7 MW of hydro-electric power.
