10 things to do in Tulum Mexico: My first travel vlog!
Welcome to my first travel vlog, from our trip to Tulum Mexico, near Playa Del Carmen about an hour from the Cancun, Mexico Airport! Here are 10 things to do here in Tulum, Mexico, from swimming or snorkeling in cenotes (caves!) to the Mayan ruins at Tulum, to just chilling by the clear blue water, these are my top ten things to do, the highlights of my recent trip to Tulum, Mexico!

I unfortunately lost most of my slow-mo shots with are my favourite to work with so we just turned this into a casual trip guide/memory vlog for us.

- Exploring Tulum ruins
- Coba & Punta Laguna tour with Ko'ox (loved it but didn't end up doing some things listed in tour so when booking ask specifically what you'll be seeing with your tour guide. We didn't mind much that we didn't do everything - the day was busy!) :
- Akumal Beach for swimming with turtles

- Dinner at Posada Margherita on the beach
- Breakfast at Raw Love Tulum
- Cenote ZaCil Ha (also has a pool + bar etc)

WHAT WE DIDN'T GET TO DO THIS TRIP:
- Millions of other Cenotes in the area (weary traveler has a great map) as well as Dos Ojos Cenote.
- Adventure Day trip centres just outside of Tulum

Youre coming down to Tulum so naturally you want to research .. What is there to do in Tulum? Find out some of the Things to do in Tulum. The town of Tulum itself, is quite small, therefore a lot of the things to do in Tulum, are in the surrounding areas. Tulum sits off the water by about a kilometer but of course the reason it is on the map is because of the Mayan Riviera itself. Starting south of Cancun, Tulum has been exposed as people visiting Cancun came further south through Playa del Carmen and eventually onto Tulum. Tulum beach is a must, but you do need someone to tell you that. If you are looking for my Top 5 Things to do in Tulum, this video will outlay those for you. Remember, this is my personal opinion of what to do in Tulum having lived in the area for a few years. I am not saying these are the ONLY things to do in Tulum, or exactly what you should do in Tulum, but a few different ideas to check out different things and select which you feel is a fit for you to do while in Tulum, Mexico.

The best beaches in Mexico are definitely Cancun beaches or Tulum beaches, but to find the best beaches in Cancun Mexico you're going to have to look a little further than basic tourist beaches, a trip to the best beaches in Cozumel Mexico might give you a surprise as these beaches can be breathtaking.
Lots of people ask which is better Cancun vs Cabo and I'd give it to Cancun every time. If you're looking for a hidden beach Mexico then we'd suggest you go to Balandra beach.
The best snorkeling in Mexico is all around you, although a specific Mexico beach that is located in Tulum is my favorite, other than that any Gulf of Mexico beaches provides great snorkeling opportunities.
The best beach in Mexico is located in Tulum, you have to visit.
The best swimming beaches in Mexico, in my opinion, are in Cancun for the calm crystal clear water and calm sand. Any beach along that coastline would qualify as the best beach in Cancun, however, finding the least busy would be your best bet.
The best beaches in Mexico for families would also be in Tulum and they would be my recommended list of the best beaches to visit in Mexico.
