    Thrikkakara Temple is one of the few temples in India dedicated to Lord Vamana. It is situated in Thrikkakara, Kochi in the state of Kerala, South India. It is located around 10 km north east of the city center between Thrissur-Ernakulam highway , Seaport-Airport Road, Cochin University of Science and Technology and Model Engineering College.   • 2. Parumala Church Thiruvalla
    Saint Geevargese Mar Gregorios, popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni and also known as Chathuruthy Kochu Thirumeni, was a bishop of the Malankara Syrian Church. He became a deacon at the age of 10, a priest at the age of 18, and a bishop when aged 28. He died at the age of 54 and was buried at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Parumala, in Kerala, India. In 1947, he was declared a saint by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, making him the first canonised Christian saint from India. In 1987, the Syriac Orthodox Church also recognised him as a saint.
