Wallarobba railway station is located on the North Coast line in New South Wales, Australia opening on 4 August 1911. It serves the rural locality of the same name. Originally a full length platform with wooden stations buildings it was later replaced by the present short platform. It is serviced by NSW TrainLink Hunter line services travelling between Newcastle and Dungog.

The Australian Reptile Park is located at Somersby on the Central Coast, New South Wales in Australia. It is about 50 kilometres North of Sydney, and is just off the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. The park is home to a variety of reptiles, including snakes, lizards and crocodiles, as well as other Australian animals, such as koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries and Tasmanian devils. The park is heavily involved in snake and spider venom collection for use in the production of Antivenom and is credited for saving the lives of thousands. It is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association .

Tomaree Lodge is a heritage-listed former military camp and hospital and now residential disability accommodation at Shoalhaven Road, Shoal Bay, Port Stephens Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by the NSW Government Architect's Office and built from 1942 by the NSW Department of Public Works for the Commonwealth Government. It was formerly known as the Tomaree Head Army/RAAF Camp. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Each year, roughly between late May and early October, Southern Right Whales return to their nursery at Logan's Beach to give birth and raise their calves.

Just offshore, in clear view, the giant, gentle mothers and their giant children loll about and play, enjoying the shelter of Lady Bay.

There are a range of tools to keep you up to date on the arrival and daily movements of Warrnambool whales.

The Logans Beach Whale Viewing Platforms is just to the east of the city, overlooking the whales favourite playground. It's open at all hours and is free.
Practical viewing tips

Check Facebook, this website, or call the Visitor Information Centre to check for the most recent sightings
Sometimes whales may not be visible at Logans Beach, even though they are in the region - make time for multiple visits
Please keep off the fragile vegetation and sand dunes at Logans Beach, and use the facilities provided
Binoculars or a telescope can enhance viewing
Be prepared for windy or wet conditions

Hunter Valley Steamfest, 12th - 13th April 2014 - Part 2

From 12th April - 13th April 2014, the annual Hunter Valley Steamfest took place up at Maitland in the NSW Hunter Valley. The Steam Locomotives that took part in this year's Steamfest were the Powerhouse Museum's 3265, the NSW Rail Transport Museum's 3642 and the Lachlan Valley Railways 5917. CPH Railmotor 1 & 7 from the Rail Motor Society also took part in this year's event as well. Steam Locomotive 5917 has just returned to service after a restoration at Eveliegh Workshops in Sydney. It recently travelled with Steam Loco SMR 18 on a trip along the South Maitland Railway Line. Also, the NSWRTM's Diesel Locomotives 44211, 4490 and 4306 also took part in the event as well.

Part 2 still shows footage from Saturday, and we see footage from Sunday. We see 3265 (assisted by 44211) at Maitland Station waiting to depart for Newcastle, then we see the train depart for Newcastle. At the end of the day, we see 3642 and 5917 in Maitland Yards after the event on Saturday.

The next day on Sunday, we see 3265 and 3642 getting ready for the Great Train Race. 3265 and Diesel Locomotive 44211 depart for Newcastle. 3642 and Diesel Locomotive depart for Broadmedow. 5917 is seen getting ready for the Barrington Bullet to Dungog. We also have a look at some other trains around Maitland Station as well.

TONA EP4: Tarro Station

Welcome to the 4th TONA episode. In this Episode you'll be viewing Trains come & go past Tarro Station which is on the Hunter Train line in New South Wales Australia.

This is a major video covering a half hours worth of Filming so there is plenty to view & enjoy. Maybe your favourite train has made it into the 4th TONA episode?

Now you'll be seeing a lot of freight trains in this video & a few passenger ones. Freight trains include trains from Pacific National, Aurizon and Glencore. Passenger trains featured in this video are Hunter J sets which are exclusive to the Hunter branch line. Rarely do they ever leave the Hunter line but there have been rare instances in the past where they have.
