Wolfhagen is a town in the district of Kassel, in Hesse, Germany. It is located 12 km southeast of Bad Arolsen, and 23 km west of Kassel on the German Timber-Frame Road. In 1992, the town hosted the 32nd Hessentag state festival.

Nature Attractions In Wolfhagen

1. Edersee Waldeck
The Edersee Dam is a hydroelectric dam spanning the Eder river in northern Hesse, Germany. Constructed between 1908 and 1914, it lies near the small town of Waldeck at the northern edge of the Kellerwald. Breached by Allied bombs during World War II, it was rebuilt during the war, and today generates hydroelectric power and regulates water levels for shipping on the Weser river. At low water in late summers of dry years the remnants of three villages and a bridge across the original river bed submerged when the lake was filled in 1914 can be seen. Descendants of those buried there go to visit the graves of their ancestors.

Mit dem Fahrrad durch Norwegen #1 GoPro Hero 5 Black

Am 8. August startete ich meine Reis am Flughafen in Frankfurt, ich flog mit meinem Fahrrad in einem Flugzeug, von SAS nach Kiruna, das ist eine Stadt, in Nord Schweden, die ca. 200km von der Norwegischen Grenz entfährt liegt. Als ich nach einem 6 stunden langen Flug in Kiruna an kam, begrüßte mich erst ein mal ein Starker Regen. Zwischen Schweden und Norwegen war auf der E10 erst ein mal eine 18 km lang Baustelle weshalb ich mein Fahrrad schieben musste, da ich mit meinen Rennrad unterwegs war und es nicht meinen Reifen zutraute auf dieser Schotterstraße zu fahren. nach ca. 6km also 1 1/2 km Fahrrad schieben nahm mich ein Nettes Ehepaar mit ihrem Wohnmobil mit. Das Fahrrad schnallten wir einfach hinten auf den Fahrradträger. In Absiko wanderte ich ich hoch in die Berge zur Aurora Sky Station, von dort oben hatte ich einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf Absiko und den See Torneträsk.
