Woodbury is a village and civil parish in East Devon in the English county of Devon, 7 miles south east of the city of Exeter. It is a commuter village and is primarily residential, since the majority of the workforce commute to Exeter. The parish, which has a population of 3,466 recounted for the village alone of 1,605 at the 2011 Census, lies on the east bank of the Exe Estuary, has borders – clockwise from the estuary – with the district of Exeter and then the parishes of Clyst St George, Clyst St Mary, Farringdon, Colaton Raleigh, Bicton and Lympstone. The Tank Museum is a collection of armoured fighting vehicles at Bovington Camp in Dorset, South West England. It is about 1 mile north of the village of Wool and 12 miles west of the major port of Poole. The collection traces the history of the tank. With almost 300 vehicles on exhibition from 26 countries it is the largest collection of tanks and the third largest collection of armoured vehicles in the world. It includes Tiger 131, the only working example of a German Tiger I tank, and a British First World War Mark I, the world's oldest surviving combat tank. It is the museum of the Royal Tank Regiment and the Royal Armoured Corps and is a registered charity.

Wookey Hole Caves are a series of limestone caverns, a show cave and tourist attraction in the village of Wookey Hole on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills near Wells in Somerset, England. The River Axe flows through the cave. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for both biological and geological reasons. Wookey Hole cave is a solutional cave, one that is formed by a process of weathering in which the natural acid in groundwater dissolves the rocks. Some water originates as rain that flows into streams on impervious rocks on the plateau before sinking at the limestone boundary into cave systems such as Swildon's Hole, Eastwater Cavern and St Cuthbert's Swallet; the rest is rain that percolates directly through the limestone. Lulworth Camp is a British Army base that is home to the Armoured Fighting Vehicle Gunnery School and runs the Lulworth Ranges on the southern coast of Dorset, England. The camp lies immediately southeast of the road junction between the B 3070 and B 3071 and about a mile northeast of Lulworth Cove.

Powderham Castle: Stammsitz der Courtenays, im 12. Jahrh. aus Frankreich eingewanderte Adelsfamilie. Das Landschloss wurde im 14. Jahrh. errichtet und mehrfach umgebaut. Bis heute wird es von der Familie bewohnt. Der Titel: EARL OF DEVON. Es liegt süd- östlich von Exeter, am Ufer der Exe. Auf der geführten Besichtigungstour durch das im gregorianischen Stil eingerichtete Haus ( ca. 1 Stunde), konnte uns Dave viel Interessantes und Kuioses zum Besten geben . . . Leider war im Haus das Filmen und Fotos nicht erlaubt. ;-(((
