Transformation of St Peter’s Church, Hereford
The decision was made by the Parochial Church Council to re-order the church building to enable it to be used for a variety of functions associated with the outreach works as well as the Sunday and Civic services. The three areas that the design was required to address were: providing an inviting entrance, which was accessible by all; providing an open plan, multi-use, flexible space that could be used for any activity; installing heating and services to enable the space to be warm, comfortable and useable.

The Hub Project - Peterchurch
Take a look around one of our most successful and transformative church reordering projects – St Peter’s in Peterchurch, which has been imagined and designed by parishioners.
It now houses a vibrant community hub including a café and library, whilst still remaining a sacred space.
The project was showcased at the launch of our new ‘Crossing the Threshold: a step-by-step guide to developing your place of worship for wider community use and managing a successful building project’ toolkit.

21,000 poppies adorn church tower for Armistice Day centenary
Often inspired by the breathtaking ceramic poppies that filled the moat of the Tower of London in 2014 and made our country proud, volunteers have pitched in to answer the Royal British Legion’s call to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all from the World War I generation who served, sacrificed and changed our world. Inside St Peter Mancroft Church in Norwich, for example, local crafting groups have knitted and crocheted more than 15,000 poppies — each representing a fallen soldier named on a Norfolk war memorial. And adorning Hertford Castle, a whopping 170 miles of wool has been used to knit and crochet 15,000 poppies. The task brought together every generation — with 100-year-old Ivy Buck being the oldest and six-year-old Bodhi Gover the youngest. In the park in front of Colchester Castle, a spectacular three-dimensional flower display features a floral World War I Mark VI tank, planted with 9,000 carpet bedding plants called alternanthera, as well as willow sculptures of soldiers and a nurse.

Ring of 8 10-0-20 in G, I've heard lots of negative comments about these but I think they're lovely... another set of rings which sound better outside than in though that's the important thing really! They go well, sound nice and has a lovely ringing chamber. I dont understand what all thge negativity is about.
Family spot big cat prowling around a churchyard | SWNS TV
This is the moment a family spotted a big cat prowling around the gravestones in a village churchyard.
The mum and son were enjoying an evening stroll at an ancient church when they saw the large beast.
Footage shows the animal, which resembles a puma or large wildcat, skulking around the graves in St Peter’s Church, in Powick, Worcs.
The 37-year-old son who filmed the animal on August 22 said: “I noticed it run across the churchyard, and I thought it was a fox.

Nowheres dull; its just a matter of how you look at it. Sick and tired of hearing their home dismissed as sleepy and old fashioned, a group of young people from Herefordshire set out to prove that the countys as vibrant and energetic as any city. Where people with less imagination might see a hillside, a barn full of grain and bales of straw, these adventurers see mountain board tracks, desert dunes and fortress walls. And, amidst all this excitement, the young people also find time for the traditions of their community, for the farming and the customs which have been handed down for generations. This is a celebration of a surprisingly diverse and contemporary community.

A ring of 6, 17-0-14 in E. In interesting ring of 6 with the Tenor dating back from the 16th Century. I personally think that they are a little dissapointing, they go ok but the sound isn't the best from inside the ringing chamber... They sound a lot better outside according to some, although I haven't heard them outside unfortunately.
