Willamette River: Oregon's Threatened Treasure
This KGW documentary explores the vast Willamette River watershed. The territory covered spans a broad section of the state. Its headwaters starts high in the Cascade Mountains at Waldo Lake in the Willamette National Forest and then winds for 240 miles through the Willamette Valley, and the cities of Eugene, Albany, Salem and Portland. At its terminus, it joins with the Columbia River.
The special report details the effects of pollution, farming and industry on the river as it passes through each community, and the long-lasting effects of accumulated toxins and pollution.
This documentary is presented by KGW environmental reporter Gary Chittim and photojournalists Tim Jacobson, with host Tracy Barry.

Hug Point Oregon
Please be aware of the tide when exploring the beach and headlands of Hug Point State Recreation Site! It is possible to become stranded by the incoming tide when exploring the point. Tide and sand conditions change with the seasons. If in doubt, don't go out! Hug Point State Recreation Site offers an easy access to the beach, a peek at some interesting local history and loads of scenic beauty. Just 5 miles south of Cannon Beach, this little wayside includes forested picnic areas, a restroom and a short walkway to the beach.
The lovely sandy cove beach just off the park is backed by hills vegetated by salal, ferns and sitka spruce. Located between Austin Point to the south and Hug Point to the north, a short walk north reveals a seasonal waterfall, caves carved into sandstone cliffs and tide pools accessible during low tide.

V7E22: Algonquin and the Shadowy Wilds
Pressing onward through Ontario, the week kicks off in Algonquin Provincial Park. Following some relaxed camping, a strenuous hike, and a refreshing shower, I venture west to explore some muddy backroads. The Jeep makes cringeworthy noises, and the weather takes a turn to gray and dreary just in time for Halloween. The week concludes in North Bay, where I consider some new gear.
V6E9: Consequences in the Desert
The week starts off smoothly enough, as I wander south to Ajo, Arizona, and experience Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Colorful, lush, deserts, full of life. Warm weather, palm trees, and sunlight. Then, as I travel east, I experience a severe issue with the Jeep and ride a trailer back to Prescott.
S1 E8: First time RVing Canada and a harvest host! ~ RV Nomads ~ Full Time RV living ~ POA vlog
We finally crossed the border and made it to CANADA! We had so much fun at our Harvest Host, the Burning Kiln, and visiting a lot of the beaches! Fabian even got sunburned in Canada! Who would have thought?!? So yea, it really wasn't as scary as we thought and we experienced some things that we never expected to, like a Parrot on a motorcycle? So check out our video and let us know what you think, eh?

GOPro Dirtbike, Trail Riding in Colorado Pt.1
GO Pro video Trail, Dirt bike riding in Colorado. 2012 Spring Poker Run at Rampart Range, in CO. Lots of fun for those who can ride with moderate riding experience. Poker Runs are usually cut up in halves, both total approx. 55+mls, being fully marked. Some places very easy, others provide a challenge. Always best riding with a partner, as these trails, although marked, is easy to get turned around, having several hundred miles of trails here. Stu riding Yamaha PW80, Calvin III riding Yamaha TTR125, & I on Yamaha YZ250F. Rampart range area is only 30 minutes from Denver, to Sedalia & Hwy85. All 3 bikes having the updated Colorado ATV trail permits which are required. Out of State visitors can get a week permit at local State Park's Offices. All dirtbikes on Colorado trail systems must be inspected having quality spark-arrests, knowing stiff fines will be issued if found dirtbikes not having permits. Many camping spots are available, only a few can be reserved, having daily fees. Most camp sites have paths for easy access to these trails traveled by many. Many locals ride during the weekdays, having much less traffic, dirtbikes and ATV's.
