HTX Stairway to Heaven
November 9, 2012. 12 mountaineers hiked UAE's most treacherous mountain called Stairway to Heaven in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The place is spectacular but do not be deceived by its glory. The hike is extreme, dangerous and scary. You should go with someone who can guide properly.

Al Madam Ghost Town | A Village Lost in Time | Dubai, UAE
A village lost in time and getting buried by the sand is Al Madam in Dubai, UAE. A place you must add on your vacation to Dubai.
Al Madam is a small village 60km from Dubai and 50km from Sharjah. An inland town in United Arab Emirates (UAE), today known as Al Madam Sharjah UAE, lives as a ghost town, a place that has long been abandoned, long forgotten! An eerie silence now surrounds the entire place, which is locally called ‘Buried Village’. It used to be a tiny hamlet once upon a time. According to the locals nearby, it was once inhabited by the people of Al Kutbi tribe (they are among the three prominent tribes living in the vicinity of Al Madam).
Most of these houses in al madam Sharjah UAE were constructed back in 1970s or 1980s under some housing project in emirates. If you enter inside a house, you’ll notice a huge pile of sand and dunes resting within what once must have been a cosy bedroom or dining room. Keep walking, and you’ll find an abandoned mosque in proximity to the village.
There are many things to do in Dubai If you don't know what to do in Dubai you can give a visit to this buried village or ghost town and if you already have plans but you still want to add something exiting and you don't know what to do in Dubai. this Al Madam village Sharjah is a place to add on your list things to do in Dubai.

Arabian Desert Safari Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Arabian Desert in Saudi Arabia.
The oldest Arabian trading city, Dubai is a pulsating desert metropolis in the Middle East which is today synonymous with High Tech and Bedouins plus tall desert sand dunes, rocky terrain and the blazing sun.The Al-Fahidi Fort is Dubai’s oldest building and was built at the beginning of the 19th century and now houses the Dubai Museum. Narrow alleys lead through the Goldsuk, the traditional covered bazaar, in which shops and stalls are packed closely together, with merchandise worth millions glittering in tempting shop windows. But for those who wish to experience something a little different, the sand dunes of the desert are the perfect setting for Dune Riding, an exhilarating extreme sport that’s off the normal tourist trail. Setting off in convoy in four-wheel drive vehicles, at first the track is smooth, though undulating and, to get into the mood, this initial terrain is usually tackled with caution. And then it begins: as though on a continuous roller coaster set on sand, the horizon moves constantly as the ride follows deep ruts and then, at high acceleration, ascends high dunes, only to return downwards at stomach-churning speed. Then, in the mountains, the Wadi Water Drive follows craggy riverbeds and bumpy gravel tracks followed by further thrills in the fascinating Hajar Mountains. After all this, a camel ride turns the frenzied ridiculous into tranquil sublime and a Bedouin barbecue rounds off a perfect day in an ancient land that offers more than just a holiday!

GoPro HERO 3: Oman Desert Oasis ( Wadi Adventure)
My holiday to Oman in the United Arab Emirates,
The Frankincense Trail Saudi Arabia-1
Series in which intrepid presenter Kate Humble follows the ancient frankincense trade route of Arabia across the amazing modern world of the Middle East. Kate's journey along the 2,000-mile trail that first connected the Arab world with the West takes her on a quest that's steeped in history, searing with desert heat, and full of characters and adventure. For 3,000 years before the birth of Christ, frankincense was more valuable than gold. Its sweet smelling aromatic smoke was treasured by Pharaohs and Caesars, and their insatiable demand for frankincense created a trade route from the southern coast of Oman to the Holy Lands. Vast camel caravans carried thousands of tonnes of frankincense over tribal lands - known today as Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Israel and Palestine. Following the trail across these seven nations, Kate finds modernity coexisting with ancient traditions as she discovers what it means to be a Western woman in Arabia.
His Highness Prince Rashed Al-Khuzai
Prince Rashed Al Khuzai (1850--1957) (Arabic: الأمير راشد الخزاعي, his full name, Prince Rashed bin Prince Khuzai bin Durgham bin Fayad bin Prince Mustapha bin Salameh Al Fraihat, was an influential Sunni Islamic political leader and struggler in the British Mandate of Jordan. In 1937, he launched and ignited the Revolution of Ajloun by forming an Arab militant group named Rebels of Ajloun, which he led against colonialism until his death in 1957, he had a very strong and close relationship with Sheikh Izz ad-Din al-Qassam.
Impact of Prince Rashed Al Khuzai at the Palestinian Issue: Before the formation of the Emirate of East Jordan, and before the emergence of local governments such as government of Ajloun in 1920, Prince Rashed Al Khuzai Emirate ruled to cover wide areas ranging from the plains and the shield of Houran, Irbid, Ajloun, Jarash, and even the city of Nablus, and it was known that Prince Rashed Al Khuzai directly supported the Palestinian revolution in 1936, Revolution of Izz el-Deen al-Qassam, and he provided direct protection to the rebels, the Palestinians and their leadership in the mountains of Ajloun and fortified them with supplies and weapons through the region called Makadet Kraymeh near Ajloun as well as direct meetings with the struggling Sheikh Izz el-Deen al-Qassam and Hajj Amin al-Husseini from Palestine, Prince Rashed also afforded the necessary funds for the Palestinian rebels through intermediaries, who were sending his aid to Palestinian revolution directly, in addition to the Prince Rashed multiple visits, these visits to Palestine, which was accompanied by the pro-Jordanian Prince Rashid sent to fight in Palestine, under the direct command of the Palestinian revolution and he brought several Palestinian militants wanted by the Jews and the British Mandate and settled them in Jordan to live among many Jordanian tribes.
Most of the Palestinian militants cling and believed in this Jordanian Prince, may have been the reason behind this is linked very closely with the struggling Sheikh Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Gods mercy. The majority of Palestinian fighters from the guerrilla during the war in Lebanon in 1982 had pictures of Prince Rashid Al Khuzai in their pockets and ammunition and even between the blood drops, side by side with images of Che Guevara (the Cuban freedom fighter) and images of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat (Abu Ammar) confirming the images directly from the images of Arab solidarity.
Outcome of the struggle of Prince Rashid Al Khuzai: Many of the information related to Prince Rashed Al Khuzai had been hidden by the Jordanian regime, especially his pivotal role in the political history of Jordan because of the long prestigious history of this Prince, his highborn family, and his struggle against colonialism in all around Arabic & Islamic world, as well as his political opposition against Jordanian regime during the establishment of the Emirate of East Jordan, and his vital role in supporting the Palestinian revolution in 1936, and anti-Zionism, especially with regard to combat the sale of land to the Jewish Agencys customers in the east of Jordan. Jordanian political system fought fiercely the history of that Prince and his family, furthermore Prince Rashed's family and even his grandchildren were clearly excluded from the receipt of any official position at the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and this was come as a natural conclusion to conceal the history of that Prince, his family, and his grandchildren as well, and their pivotal role in the history of the Middle East. Honorable stands of Prince Rashed Al Khuzai will never be forgotten or erased from the memory of the Arab and Muslim countries. Prince Rashid was always a popular symbol for all nations struggling to achieve their freedom.

Hatta is part of the Dubai emirate, but it is not located within the city’s main boundaries. Instead, it lies some 130 kilometres south-east of the city, high in the Hajaar Mountains. Formerly part of Oman, the town was given to Dubai around 1850 when the Omanis realised that they were no longer able to defend it against Buraimi tribes. These days, it's a popular spot for Dubai-based families to escape to in summer thanks to its cooler temperatures. Even today, the town retains much of its Omani laid-back pace of life.
How to get there
Getting to Hatta involves a journey of around 90 minutes by car from Dubai and the Sharjah-Kalba route is typically the fastest. From Abu Dhabi, you're looking at a two-and-a-half-hour road trip. If you’re coming by public transport, you'll need to get to Sabkha Bus Station in Dubai where you can hop on the E16 bus. The bus takes a little over two hours to reach Hatta.
