Alamodome
The Alamodome is a domed 65,000-seat, multi-purpose facility used as a football, basketball, baseball stadium and convention center. It is located on the southeastern fringe of Downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. The facility opened on May 15, 1993, having been constructed at a cost of $186 million.
The multi-purpose facility was intended to increase the city's convention traffic and attract a professional football franchise. It also placated the San Antonio Spurs' demands for a larger arena. The Spurs played in the Alamodome for a decade, then became disenchanted with the facility and convinced Bexar County to construct a new arena for them, now called the AT&T Center.

Feb 9, 2016. My intention was just to video tape us leaving the Sunset Train Station. I really just wanted to take a shot of one of the train's crossing guard rails and lights. I really didn't know my phone was still recording. I guess I'll just save it anyway for me to enjoy later on in life.

Tower Of The Americas - Fun Things To Do In Downtown San Antonio TX
The Tower Of The Americas is one of the top tourists attractions not only in downtown San ntonio, but in the entire state of Texas.
The Tower was built as part of the World's Fair in San Antonio in 1968. The structure itself looks the same as it did during the World's Fair, but the City of San Antonio has done a lot in recent years to beautify the grounds with fountains, trees, plants and shrubbery to make the entire experience more appealing to visitors. You'll see a lot of those improvements in this video, which I shot with a cell phone camera in June of 2013.
The tower is surrounded by other interesting things to do and places to see. It's within easy walking distance of the historic Alamo, the charming River Walk, La Villita (the Little Village dating back to the city's early days), and HemisFair Plaza. The Alamodome and the henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center are also just a few steps away.
The Tower's official website says Located in downtown San Antonio, the 750-foot-tall Tower of the Americas provides guests the most spectacular view of the Alamo City. Enjoy the gorgeous panorama from the Tower's revolving Chart House Restaurant, take in the scenery from the Observation Deck or experience the thrilling 4D Theater Ride.
