October 8, 2011. Early one Saturday afternoon, Sophie and I visit Pioneer Square in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon. It's a nice public space in the centre of the city; today it was the home to some surreal Prayers for Portland demonstration.
The food carts in this city are unique, and delicious. And as you can see on the multi-arrowed sign, I'm 313 miles from home.
