Deer Mountain - Rocky Mountain National Park
Nick Sangetta and Barb Sangetta hike Deer Mountain in the Rocky Mountain National Park on November 10, 2017.
Estes Cone Part 1
A day hike up to the summit of Estes Cone and Shadow Mountain. 2 parts.
Estes Cone (11,006 feet) rises above the Longs Peak Campground yet is dwarfed by Longs Peak at 14,251'.
The short but steep climb to Estes Cone rewards hikers with panoramic views of Longs Peak, the Continental Divide and Estes Park area. The final split is the last and most challenging trail segment covering almost 1000' in just .7 miles. This section is extremely steep in some areas and footing can be challenging, especially when covered with moisture. 7.4 miles (round trip) from Lilly Lake Trailhead.
Rocky Mountain National Park
An awesome hike in Rocky Mountain National Park that I shared with my family during July of 2017. Our first stop on our Colorado adventure as we explored the state.

Peaks to Plains Trail: Mouth of the Canyon
The vision of the Peaks to Plains Trail is a 65-mile trail of statewide significance that will serve the 3 million residents of the Denver metro area.
Jeffco Open Space started on the second segment of the Clear Creek Canyon stretch in 2018 with a contract for design from the east entrance of the canyon at the intersection of US 6/Hwy 58/Hwy 93, west to Tunnel 1.
The Mouth of the Canyon project will include 1.75 miles of new Peaks to Plains trail, two developed trailheads with amenities, two new bridges, and design work for improvements and restoration of approximately 1.5 miles of the Welch Ditch trail, including 0.5 miles of the historic wooden flume.

So this is the both the first time I've taken my Jeep on a trail, and the first video I've ever made. I apologize for all the shakiness. I'm going to get a sturdier camera mount for the next time I record. I will also try to put more effort into the editing once I become more familiar with the process. Like I said, I'm new to this :)
