Hong Kong Heritage Museum (Chinese: 香港文化博物館) is a museum of history, art and culture in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, located beside the Shing Mun River. The museum opened on 16 December 2000. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The six permanent exhibits and the original temporary exhibits were designed by design firm Reich+Petch along with Lord Cultural Resources.

Our video is shot in Ultra HD 4K, crystal clear quality, as if you are actually here. Since the Hong Kong Heritage Museum does not allow videos being taken, we took photos and made a slideshow. Most of the exhibitions including the Bruce Lee Exhibition cannot be photographed nor videoed.

The Museum has been designed to provide comprehensive exhibitions on history, art and culture. The Museum has a number of interactive exhibitions and programmes. It also houses a cafe and museum shop.
There are six permanent exhibition galleries for the display of the museum's collections and six thematic galleries for temporary exhibitions.[1] Permanent galleries include:

T.T.Tsui Gallery of Chinese Art, displaying artifacts from the former Tsui Museum of Art

Other than galleries, the museum has a 350-seat theatre for various performing arts and talks, including regular Cantonese opera performance. The museum possesses over 30,000 items related to Cantonese opera, which is a designated intangible cultural heritage of Hong Kong and the region.'

We visited Hong Kong Heritage Museum and we learnt so much! Bruce Lee is an amazing guy and we were extremely inspired! However, there isn't much to show in this video as they did not allow filming.
I highly recommend Sister Wah beef noodles & One Dim Sum (1 Michelin star)!!

The second floor of the museum hosts the T. T. Tsui Gallery of Chinese Art”, divided into two sections.
In this gallery, you can admire the donations from the Tsui Art foundation, named after Tsui Tsin-tong, an important entrepreneur, philanthropist and antiques expert, who throughout his life built up an impressive collection of art objects and antiques. Here you'll find Chinese ceramics dating from the Stone Age to the porcelain of the Qing dynasty, works and sculptures in wood, bamboo and bronze, tomb statues, beautiful jade and glass objects as well as ancient furniture.
In the first section, among the various treasures on display is an album of 9 paintings by the famous Chinese artist Huang Yongyu. These works are inspired by nine ceramic funeral sculptures dating to the Han and Tang dynasties, which the artist was able to admire, in 1991, in a museum set up between the 1970s and 1990s by Dr. Tsui, a close friend of his. Seven of the works are on show in this section.
In the second section, you're sure to be enchanted by the exquisite porcelain objects, including two sets of 12 cups, with each piece featuring a flower representing a month of the year as well as a poem...

Professor Jao Tsung-i was born in Chao'an, Guangdong Province, and moved to Hong Kong in 1949. He was a sinologist of international renown and highly esteemed for his erudition in a wide range of humanity subjects: from ancient history, regional history, oracle bone inscriptions, bamboo slips and silk manuscripts, bibliographic research, Chu Ci studies, Dunhuang studies, history of religions, archaeology to Chinese literature. His inspirational insights have made him one of the most influential masters of Chinese studies in a contemporary context. The exhibition presents the great Professor in an omnidirectional light. Through more than 200 items on display, which include snapshots of his daily life, personal letters, artworks, academic studies and other archival materials, visitors will be able to see how a Hong Kong-based scholar became a world renowned master of Chinese studies through lifelong dedication. He left valuable cultural wealth to Hong Kong, our country, and the world, symbolising the ever-flourishing Chinese culture.
