Victoria Peak offers the best views of Hong Kong harbor! If you want to make sure you get the best views of Hong Kong, head to Victoria about a 2 hours before sunset. That will give you time to get up the mountain to enjoy the sunset as well as the neon lights lights of Hong Kong harbor that light up after dark!
There are several ways to get to the top of Victoria Peak. You can hike (up a TON of stairs), you can ride a local bus to the top, or you can take the peak tram. The Peak Tram is the most expensive way to get to the top of the mountain, but it's also the most expensive! We took the local bus to the top of Victoria, and we really enjoyed the views of Hong Kong Island on the way the to the top.
This sunset was actually captured from the Mcdonalds that's inside the mall on top of the Peak, and the views from the Harbor were captured from the Lion's Pavilion.
If you want to know what it's like to watch the sunset from the top of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong check out this VLOG!

Victoria Peak ( The Peak ) At A Glance - Hong Kong
The Victoria Peak also referred as The Peak is a prime destination in Hong Kong. We pick up the bus no. 15 and ascend the road coming across elite properties of the island. The first glimpse of Hong Kong bay and iconic high-rises can be clearly seen from bus. A short walk from The Peak bus terminus takes us to Peace tower. The property contains shops, cafetaria and two escaletors lead us to the view gallery. On a bright sunlit day, the bay, the high-rise properties and cruise boats all over the placid waters makes a wonderful view. From the gallery on other side one also has a view of expansive South China sea with Pok Fu Lam Reservoir in foreground.

How adidas Is Helping to Modernize the Ancient Chinese Tradition of Lion Dancing
Get the latest from HYPEBEAST TV by hitting the SUBSCRIBE button!
An integral component of the traditional culture of China, lion dancing is a discipline that is ingrained into the collective memories of successive generations of Chinese. With the recent Chinese New Year, streets throughout the country are enveloped in the ear-splitting drum and cymbal tracks performed to the explosive flurries of color of the lion’s papier-mâché and fabric bodies.
However, in China’s push to modernize in recent decades, many traditional practices have been threatened with extinction, lion dancing being no exception. In response, a small but vocal number of lion dance practitioners have helmed the push to bring lion dancing back to the forefront of the public imagination.
Among them, Jerry Keung of Hong Kong-based Keung’s Dragon & Lion Dance Team has led its rejuvenation among the city’s youth via a strategy of adaptation, not only campaigning for better training environments and hosting large exhibitions to increase public awareness, but also engaging in groundbreaking collaborations with the likes of adidas and A Bathing Ape to modernize the thousand-year-old art form’s image. We caught up with Keung in the video above to delve into the history of the discipline, as well as to find out what inroads are being made into its revitalization.

View from Sky Terrace 428, The Peak, Hong Kong
The Sky Terrace 428, standing at 428 metres above sea level, is the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong offering a 360-degree panoramic view across the Hong Kong.
To be honest I did not find that much interesting. Nothing so special as they advertise, nothing is stunning there. You can watch the buildings from the lower portion of the mountain, you really do not need to go to the terrace. Rest is up to you. They offer a combined ticket for tram and the terrace.
How to reach there: Catch Hong Kong metro and reach Central station. Take exit J/J2 and turn right. Walk for about 10-15 minutes and you will reach the lower terminus of the peak tram. Catch the tram and reach the top of the mountain. Then use elevator to reach the terrace.
