You may have been lucky enough to see them carefully walking along a 42-metre tightrope connecting rocky hills in Hong Kong’s New Territories. Or maybe you enjoy watching their enthralling videos online.
Daredevils in the Slacklining Hong Kong group, whose sport evolved from rock-climbing in Yosemite Valley, California during the 1970s, are fast making a name for themselves as the most exciting sporting club in the city.

Mavic2 Pro, 9.13 Lion Rock The Hong Kong Way (KASH x mgbb) [4K]
On 9.13 Mid-Autumn Festival thousands of people hiked up the Lion Rock at night for the 5 Demands of Hong Kong. Our drone cameras have captured the touching moments! This is a cross over videography work with the KASH team. A link to their youtube channel has been listed below.

Hong Kong's Lion Rock Comes to Life
Lion Rock, is a famous hill in Hong Kong and it is famous for its shape which resembles a crouching lion.
On december 22, around 2pm local time numerous people witnessed lion rocks' eyes turn red. Here is a photo of lion rock and where it's eyes would be it does look like it's glowing red.
Local media the Epoch Times reports that this strange phenomenon occurred for about 30 minutes and during those 30 minutes, witnesses say the lion's head itself was moving as if the lion actually came to life and the Lion's eyes slowly turned red twice.
According to witness Ah Zhen who snapped these photos from her eye phone
The eyes moved like a cloth, slowing changing to red and then back to normal then red again, this happened twice.
Now adding to this already bizzare phenomenon is the fact that there is a Chinese legend called, when the stone lion's eyes turn red. Its a story about a kind hearted old woman who learned from Bodisafa that a huge flood is about to engulf her village and boddisafa told her to look at the stone lion sitting outside her village and when the lion's eyes turn red, thats when the flood is about to arrive. So the women warned the villagers and they were able to escape this disaster.
A lot of locals know of this legend and of course are concerened whether this means that disaster will fall upon Hong Kong...

Hong Kong: The City of Lion Rock spirit
Meijing Shi comes from HongKong. In 2006, he came back to mainland for his cultural and creative business, and then came to Chengdu mainly for the IP “Panda”.
But in recent months, Hong Kong changes drastically. He's deeply saddened by what’s happening there, Such a decent city, a lawful society, used to be very lively...it is now very much chaotic, which directly disrupt the daily life of my parents, my families.
Hong Kong is a very convenient city to live. When Shi was in junior high school, Hong Kong was called the pearl of the east. It’s the shopping heaven, the food heaven. With all of those, everyone in Hong Kong is diligent, driven, here comes the decades of prosperity. I hope that Hong Kong will soon return to its former vibrant city full of business opportunities.
The Lifelong Care series of short films reflect Hong Kong people working and living in inland China. They saw the current situation in Hong Kong and worried about their hometown and their families there. They hope that Hong Kong will return to the days of peace, harmony and wealth. When a bird's nest is overturned, no egg can remain intact.

(Below the Lion's Rock - Roman Tam)
In life we are sometimes glad But we'll also be sad
We together have met under the lion rock
Our joy is counted more than singing
In life there is rugged Can't be without worries
on the same boat in Hong Kong we each help each other
Dump our difference seek for ways
Release those conflicts in our mind Ideals chase together
Swear to stay with always Be Brave Without fear
As we live in Hong Kong With Hands to Overcome
We together used hard works to have written those
Hong Kong Immortal words
Release those conflicts in our mind Ideals chase together
Swear to stay with always Be Brave Without fear
As we live in Hong Kong With Hands to Overcome
We together used hard works to have written those

Hong Kong Immortal words
Fun facts: Below the Lion's Rock was sung by renowned Cantonese pop singer, Roman Tam (1950-2002). This song is often regarded as Hong Kong's national anthem.

Lion Rock (Chinese: 獅子山), or less formally Lion Rock Hill, is a mountain in Hong Kong. It is located between Kowloon Tong of Kowloon and Tai Wai of the New Territories, and is 495 metres high.[1] The peak consists of granite covered sparsely by shrubs. The Kowloon granite, which includes Lion Rock, is estimated to be around 140 million years old.[2]
