Memorial Day Celebration Daytona Beach Florida at Boothill on Main St
Capt Jim Weber did a fantastic job on organizing this event of 05/26/2014. Fly by flown by pilot Danny Manengen, gun salute, the playing of Taps, Martine Bizier sang the National Anthem, pledge of allegiance by a little 8 year old girl, laying of the wreath, and an incredible Master of Ceremonies, Edith Shelley, former commissioner, Zone 1. The band was named Yesterday Today. Great sound! A very touching ceremony with the Veterans honored and dedicated to those that served in Afghanistan and Iraq. God bless the United States of America and thank you for all those that have served and their families.

Flying DJI Phantom 3 Pro and Driving with DJI OSMO in Detroit HOOD
We made this video about Detroit while on our way home from a vacation in Florida. Detroit to me has a lot of potential and still is a great city. In my opinion all Detroit needs is LOVE and some attention to the houses and the people that make it. With proper management and care, the city could thrive and be a business hub for Michigan. I am no expert in rebuilding a city, but to me, the only way to make money is to invest, and not just with money, but with time and skill as well. If you have any ideas on how to improve the city, please comment it below.
Detroit (/dᵻˈtrɔɪt/[6]) is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan, the fourth-largest city in the Midwest and the largest city on the United States–Canada border. It is the seat of Wayne County, the most populous county in the state. Detroit's metropolitan area, known as Metro Detroit, is home to 5.3 million people, making it the fourteenth-most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the second-largest in the Midwestern United States (behind Chicago). It is a major port on the Detroit River, a strait that connects the Great Lakes system to the Saint Lawrence Seaway. The City of Detroit anchors the second-largest economic region in the Midwest, behind Chicago, and the thirteenth-largest in the United States.[7][8]
Detroit is the center of a three-county urban area (population 3,734,090, area of 1,337 square miles (3,460 km2), a 2010 United States Census) six-county metropolitan statistical area (2010 Census population of 4,296,250, area of 3,913 square miles [10,130 km2]), and a nine-county Combined Statistical Area (2010 Census population of 5,218,852, area of 5,814 square miles [15,060 km2]).[5][9][10] The Detroit–Windsor area, a commercial link straddling the Canada–U.S. border, has a total population of about 5,700,000.[11] The Detroit metropolitan region holds roughly one-half of Michigan's population.[4][10]
Detroit was founded on July 24, 1701, by the French explorer and adventurer Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac and a party of settlers. With expansion of the automobile industry, the Detroit area emerged as a significant metropolitan region within the United States in the early 20th century, when the city became the fourth-largest in the country for a period. In the 1950s and 1960s, expansion continued with construction of a regional freeway system.
Due to industrial restructuring and loss of jobs in the auto industry, Detroit lost considerable population from the late 20th century to present. Between 2000 and 2010 the city's population fell by 25 percent, changing its ranking from the nation's 10th-largest city to 18th.[12] In 2010, the city had a population of 713,777, more than a 60 percent drop from a peak population of over 1.8 million at the 1950 census. This resulted from suburbanization, industrial restructuring, and the decline of Detroit's auto industry.[4] Following the shift of population and jobs to its suburbs or other states or nations, the city has focused on becoming the metropolitan region's employment and economic center. Downtown Detroit has held an increased role as an entertainment destination in the 21st century, with the restoration of several historic theatres, several new sports stadiums, and a riverfront revitalization project. More recently, the population of Downtown Detroit, Midtown Detroit, and a handful of other neighborhoods has increased. Many other neighborhoods remain distressed, with extensive abandonment of properties.
The Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, declared a financial emergency for the city in March 2013, appointing an emergency manager. On July 18, 2013, Detroit filed the largest municipal bankruptcy case in U.S. history.[13] It was declared bankrupt by Judge Steven W. Rhodes of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on December 3, 2013; he cited its $18.5 billion debt and declared that negotiations with its thousands of creditors were unfeasible.[14] On November 7, 2014, Judge Rhodes approved the city's bankruptcy plan, allowing the city to begin the process of exiting bankruptcy.[15] The City of Detroit successfully exited Chapter 9 municipal bankruptcy with all finances handed back to the city at midnight on December 11, 2014.[16][17][18]

America's Independence! St. Pete Beach Florida Summer Vacation
St. Pete Beach Florida is a beautiful location to celebrate this wonderful holiday. Special thanks to everyone for coming out. The storms rolled in later in the day but we hunkered down and waited them out. The rain gave way to one of the most beautiful sunsets of the season. The fireworks show started shortly after dark around 9:10
In 1776 our founding fathers decided we would no longer be under British rule and on July 4th John Adams Wrote a letter to his wife Abigail: Today will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more. So far he was right.

Drug induced Zombie walk, Charlton St. Worcester, Mass. USA
Description: I happened upon this girl while walking the dog I am taking care of for a tenant that is in jail on a Domestic Assault charge. Sadly, this is not an unusual sight on our public ways in these days of rampant drug use and abuse. My area of concern, the 700 Block of Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts became infested with drug users and abusers because the only wet homeless shelter used to be located right next to the property that I manage.
They finally moved the shelter last May, but the neighborhood had become a known place to score the drug of your choice during the time the shelter was located here. It still has that reputation in some circles.
I have been bringing attention to the situation through this video series, and have installed an 8 Channel Surveillance system that videos the entire area 24/7. It records everything for 2500 hours, which is a long time.
I made sure to post what my cameras see on You Tube and social media has made a positive impact, it seems like no one wants to be featured on the next video, and they have for the most part moved on to stay out of the spotlight.
There are still some stragglers, here is one of them. Enjoy the video, I think it shows that we need as a society to get people that are obviously addicted into treatment and recovery programs.
