While conducting a top-secret biological study in an underground sewage system, a team of scientists discovers a nest of alien eggs. Quickly destroying the eggs before they can hatch, the scientists are unaware that one of the eggs has already hatched, and an adaptable reptilian creature soon adapts the form of a beautiful woman who begins to integrate itself into human society. She is searching for sustenance and a means to fertilize her eggs, and an unknowing man subsequently falls for the human-looking creature to horrific results.

Sex Medusa Review
Sex Medusa is a film from Hong Kong. The title of the movie is misleading because the film isn't about the Legend of Medusa. I don't feel like the movie should be categorized as a horror film because I feel like it lacks creepy atmosphere, suspense, and tension. The movie seems to be focused on getting the audience to feel an emotional connection with the main female character, instead of making them fear her because she is half snake / half woman. The storyline in the film is decent, but unfortunately, it's not complex enough to encourage people to view the movie multiple times. People who are interested in the concept of the film, may find some qualities they like about the movie, but most people out there looking for a scary Asian Horror Movie, would be better off watching a more terrifying film.

Hong Kong lawyers and activists march against China's interference
Over 2,000 lawyers and activists dressed in black and joined silent protest after China effectively barred two elected pro-independence lawmakers from taking their seats by interpreting the city's mini-constitution.
“The legal sector has to come out and express our discontent and that we oppose this,” said Margaret Ng, a prominent local barrister.

Hong Kong Legends was a United Kingdom DVD distribution company, based in Hertfordshire and operating from the UK and Australia between 1999 and 2007. Hong Kong Legends was initially part of Medusa Communications,[1] who, along with Soulblade bought up the UK distribution rights for film titles previously owned by Eastern Heroes label.
Hong Kong Legends released 101 Hong Kong classic films, primarily martial arts films and other action films. In preparing the DVDs, they gained access to the vaults of Hong Kong studios such as Golden Harvest, selecting the films with the highest quality prints available. Hong Kong Legends added audio commentaries most notably by Hong Kong cinema expert Bey Logan, conducted interviews with key actors, directors and other film crew, performed new translations for subtitles and cleaned up damage to the films.
Their catalogue of films included releases featuring Hong Kong stars such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Jet Li, Chow Yun-fat, Donnie Yen and Michelle Yeoh.

The Girl's From China [1992]
Story is about Ying, a girl from Beijing who comes to Hong Kong to find work and stay with her wealthy uncle. She is played by the stunningly beautiful Isabella Chow, whose charms easily carry this picture. At first, Ying is harassed sexually by her uncle and her employer at work, which sends her into the arms of the kind but psychotic Kent. He is possessive and wants her to marry him. However, she wants a career before settling down, and leaves him. Soon after, she runs into an old girlfriend who is now a part-time prostitute. She advises Ying to start using sex to further her career. Ying tries it, discovers she is good at it, and soon her career is skyrocketing. Just as everything is going perfectly and she has attained a corporate position of such power that she doesn’t have to compromise anymore, the psychotic Kent returns with a video tape of them having sex, and starts pressuring Ying to continue their relationship despite Ying’s now being engaged to be married to another guy. Ying then decides to go along with Kent’s scheme for a while, but soon she hatches a plan to set him up, framing him for sexual crimes he did not actually commit

Italian luxury fashion company Versace has apologised to China after text on its T-shirts identified the semi-autonomous regions of Hong Kong and Macau as countries. Versace said the sale of the T-shirts was stopped and the T-shirts were destroyed.
