The story of Amelia and Mrs Bishop from the Cork Ghost Tour
Cork City in Ireland has a long history as a maritime port and the folks at the Cork Ghost Tour are expert at bringing some of that history alive as they take visitors around the old parts of the city starting in Emmet Place in front of the Opera House and walking to the Shandon area via Popes Quay and back down to the river,
This is the story of Amelia and Mrs Bishop told during the tour while in front of St Mary's Dominican church in Popes Quay.
I highly recommend this to visitors and bookings can be made via their website

Stories of windless and frozen seas
The Doldrums windless seascapes. In the Tropics. Read the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. Here great ships failed to navigate the Caribbean seas. No winds filled the great white sails.......
From Annascaul Co. Kerry. The famous Irish Irish explorer Tom Crean sailed to the South Pole with his magnificent Ice Ships drawn by southern magnetism.
As with the lack of wind power in the tropics, so too for many at a time the polar expedition ships were frozen still in the ice.
This is the music of the ice. Worlds of stillness and cold beauty.
Of Stasis.

It is a personal record from my eye view-point, and it is raw and as it happens from the thick of it. Therefore it is not a Cecille DeMille production in HD with 5.1 surround sound. I also push myself to my personal limits and I feel if I stuck to rigid rules, my output would be boring. For example, being out of focus for a couple of seconds is all a part and parcel of things.
