My intent for making these videos was so my family and friends could live vicariously though me. I will be providing you new footage throughout the year. Haviland Lake Campground (2018) San Juan National Forest
Haviland Lake is located off of Hwy 550 about 18 miles north of Durango, Colorado at an elevation of 8,705 ft (2653 m) The campground at Haviland Lake is beautiful. It is a USDA as part of the San Juan National forest. There are 43 campsites which have a great deal of separation from each other and the views through the trees across the lake towards the mountains are breathtaking. There is no sewage or water hookups at the sites. 15 of the sites have electric hookups.

3rd week of September 2015 - It was about a week early for the full Fall Colors - there were higher color changes in the higher altitudes. Too bad there were construction near some good parts of the drive near Ouray. Following the bikers were priceless.
Recorded with Gopro 4 silver, encoded with Sony Vegas with disabled resample with light video stablizer.
