Spring Canyon Community Park in Fort Collins, Colorado
Here is video of the greatest kid's playground in all of Northern Colorado. This park just opened at the end of October 2007 and is located at the very west end of Horsetooth Road in Fort Collins, Colorado. I strongly encourage everyone with kids to visit the park as this is truly a well designed family park and I can't wait till the spring to spend even more time there.
For more information, I wrote a blog earlier describing all of the park's features so visit: FrontRangeRealEstateBlog.com
I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has.

Cache La Poudre-North Park Scenic and Historic Byway Near Fort Collins Colorado
The Cache La Poudre-North Park Scenic Byway leads visitors from the city of Fort Collins to the quiet, bowl-shaped valley of North Park, located just west of the Continental Divide.
The Cache La Poudre River Canyon and the Roosevelt National Forest characterize the eastern section of the byway, while the North Park valley dominates the western section. North Park was once a favorite bison grazing ground, and today deer, antelope, elk, moose, beaver, and coyote populate the area. There are all types of wildlife to be seen on the byway, and migrating waterfowl flock to the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge.
Recreation along the byway is high on visitors' lists. The Poudre River, Colorado's only federally designated National Wild and Scenic River, is a popular spot for whitewater boaters and anglers.
The Cache La Poudre-North Park Scenic Byway was once a useful transit corridor for Native Americans and early white explorers. Today, the byway is a destination spot for travelers looking for beautiful scenery, solitude, diverse landscape, and recreational opportunities.

How A Place Matters, a new documentary featuring Fort Collins, Colorado
According to the Smithsonian Institution, Fort Collins represents 21st century innovation, so much so that it is included in an ongoing exhibit in Washington, D.C. A new documentary, produced by Rocky Mountain PBS and Colorado State University, takes an in-depth look at what makes Fort Collins an important Place of Invention.
How a Place Matters will have a free premiere screening on Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St., Fort Collins. The screening will be followed at 8:15 p.m. by a celebration concert by local band Post Paradise, which not only provided the soundtrack for the film but also appears in it.
The event is free, but reservations are required.
“In tackling the documentary project, our premise was that the conditions that create the right synergy for an innovative community are not simple to build, but you know them when you see them in place,” explained CSU’s Vice President for External Relations Tom Milligan. “And we have them all right here in Fort Collins.”
Groundbreaking clean-energy research being done at CSU and in Fort Collins is showcased in the Places of Invention exhibit at the Smithsonian’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation at the National Museum of American History. The exhibit, which also features such cultural and technological game-changers as Hollywood in the 1930s and Silicon Valley in the 1980s, will remain on display until 2020.
How a Place Matters will also air on Rocky Mountain PBS on Oct. 1 and again on Feb. 18, 2016.
