This breezy 9km ride is mostly on flat surface and traverses through some scenic spots, including the one near the Tsz Shan Monastery.

Get an aerial view of one of the most fun places in Hong Kong - Tai Mei Tuk. A place where there are so many activities to do.
Tai Mei Tuk, located in Tai Po along the Plover Cove dam (New Territories) offers visitors activities ranging from kayaking, boating, windsurfing, cycling, hiking (into the country park), BBQ, and more.
It's also in close proximity to Bride's Pool waterfalls and Tsz Shan Monastery.

CYCLING IN HONG KONG - TAI WAI TO PLOVER COVE (BEAUTIFUL VIEWS)
Cyclesport is bike rental shop at Tai Wai, with various types of bike. They open till 11pm. You also can return the bike Tai Po or Tai Mei Tuk.
A lot of other shops will ask you to return the bike before 7pm at HK$80 for the whole day.
Take Exit A Tai Wai MTR station, cross the street, turn right, and start walking.
There are bicycle rental shops all along Tsuen Nam Road.

Tai Mei Tuk to ShaTin – a long flat bike ride along the waterfront
Starting at the far end of the Tai Mei Tuk dam, I was greeted by swarms of swallows ducking and diving across the embankment to catch green fly that you also have to negotiate as you cycle the length of the dam. On a cold wet winter's day the dam is so long that is disappears into the fog, a truly magical start to probably Hong Kong's most popular bike ride.

DJI MAVIC AIR at TAI MEI TUK HD 大尾督
Tai Mei Tuk (officially known as 大美督 in Chinese; formerly and still commonly known as 大尾篤; also written as 大尾督 or 大美篤) is a place close to the Plover Cove Reservoir in the Tai Po District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is a popular place for barbecues and cycling. There are villages and a harbour nearby where many restaurants can be found. Bicycles are also available for hire in the villages.
The Tai Mei Tuk Sea Activity Centre of the Scout Association of Hong Kong is located in the area and also provides sea Scouting activities in Hong Kong.

Tai Po Waterfront Park (Chinese: 大埔海濱公園) is a park in Tai Po in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is located along the Tolo Harbour, and its western end is at the northern part of the mouth of the Lam Tsuen River. It occupies an area of 22 hectares (54 acres), and is the largest park managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.[1] The Park opened in 1994 at a cost of $210-million,[1] but was not completed until 1997 with the creation of the Tai Po Lookout Tower.
Every year, the Tai Po Dragon Boat Race is held in the sea off the park.
