Pichi Richi Railway's Playtime Express 2/10/16
Hi All,
Here we see the Playtime Express in action with Sally the Steam Train in charge of the train full of excited passengers bound for Playtime Siding on Sunday 2nd of October 2016.
This is Pichi Richi's newest attraction for families especially young families and the young at heart.
We join Mr. Conductor, Mr. StationMaster, Lady Nae and all of Sally's crew aboard the Playtime Express.
First we take a look around the happenings of historic Quorn Station, built in 1916.
A variety of craft activities are on show for the children and parents to participate in while the express is being made ready.
We then catch Sally the Steam Train hooking up to the red, green and cream coaches for the trip to Playtime Siding.
An introductory is presented by Mr. Conductor and then the public board the train.
We catch Sally again going through the magical Pichi Richi Pass towards the magic portal that takes us into Playtime Siding.
From here we take a look around Playtime Siding with the lovely ladies from catering of PRR and dependable member Rich on the barbie, cooking up a delightful Aussie feast for Playtime Express passengers.
Then we let Mr. Conductor and Mr. StationMaster take it away with fun entertainment for all.
Passengers then board the train and in good old trainspotter fashion, we chase the train back to Quorn.

French Women Accused of Collaborating with Germans Punished | War Archives
In this segment, Women accused of collaborating with Germans are rounded up and their heads are forcibly shaved. The humiliating scenes often took place in front of jeering crowds. Members of the resistance were suppose to be doing the shaving but in fact many of them weren't from the resistance - they were in fact collaborators themselves seeking to divert attention away from themselves. Many of the collaborators were prostitues or young mothers whose husbands were in prisoner of war camps. The only way they could feed themselves and their children was to have a liaison with a German.

Before television, people came to movie theatres to watch the news. British Pathé was at the forefront of cinematic journalism, blending information with entertainment to popular effect. Over the course of a century, it documented everything from major armed conflicts and seismic political crises to the curious hobbies and eccentric lives of ordinary people. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it.

Howrah railway station, West bengal
Howrah Station is the largest station in India by its area. It is one of the four intercity railway stations serving Kolkata, the others are Sealdah Station, Shalimar Station and Kolkata railway station in Kolkata. Howrah is situated on the West bank of the Hooghly River, linked to Kolkata by the magnificent Howrah Bridge which is an icon of Kolkata. It is the oldest station and the largest railway complex in India.
Initial plans for the first Howrah station were submitted by George Turnbull the Chief Engineer of the East Indian Railway Company on 17 June 1851. In January 1852, it became clear that the government authorities would not sanction the purchase of sufficient land nor the necessary waterfrontage despite remonstrations from Turnbull that the terminus would grow enormously. In May 1852, the detailed station plans were the major work of him and his team of engineers. In October four tenders for building the station were received varying from 190,000 to 274,526 INR against an estimate of 250,000 INR.
Due to a great increase of traffic, a new station building was proposed in 1901. The new station was designed by the British architect Halsey Ricardo. It was brought into service on 1 December 1905. This building is the current Howrah station building. The station had 15 platform tracks.
It was expanded in the 1980s with the addition of 8 platform tracks in an area to the south of the station which previously had a parcels terminal, bringing the track count up to 23. At the same time a new Yatri Niwas (transit passenger facility) was built south of the original head house.
