Saltery Bay Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located southeast of the city of Powell River, and on the north side of the entrance to Jervis Inlet in the central area of that province's Sunshine Coast region. Saltery Bay Provincial Park was established in 1962 to provide ocean access on the Sunshine Coast of Georgia Strait. The park has both a campground and a day-use area. The day-use area with its rocky beaches is a popular swimming and picnic site. Lush forests with large, old trees create a quiet setting for the campground at Mermaid Cove. 1. Stawamus Chief Park Squamish
The Stawamus Chief, officially Stawamus Chief Mountain , is a granite dome located adjacent to the town of Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. It towers over 700 m above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is often claimed to be the second largest granite monolith in the world.The Squamish, indigenous people from this area, consider the Chief to be a place of spiritual significance. The Squamish language name for the mountain is Siám' Smánit , and their traditions say it is a longhouse transformed to stone by Xáays, as the Transformer Brothers are known in this language. Sunshine Coast Trail (free cabin stay at Tin Hat Mountain Cabin )

Here is the completed video of the Tin Hat mountain cabin up in behind Powell River on the Sunshine Coast Trail. Remember, you can stay here for free! I am so impressed by what the people who build these places are doing. It sure is amazing the dedication these people have to bettering our beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Coast of British Columbia is a largely undiscovered area on the west coast of Canada. It stretches from Gibsons in the South all the way North to Powell River and Lund on the upper Sunshine Coast. Lund is at the most northerly point of Highway 101.
