Alaska Highway Mile-zero
The video shows the city of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada, where the Alaska Highway begins. We drive around town a bit and then turn away from the Alaska highway to begin the 1,100km journey heading south towards the US border (Lower-48). Since the Alaska highway is designated as highway-97, there is arguable claim that the Alaska highway actually starts where highway-97 begins - in the city of Weed, California, where another mile-zero marker exists more than two thousand km to the south!
