British Columbia Motorcycle Ride: Merritt to Spences Bridge
Ride with us on one of our favourite motorcycle rides in British Columbia, Highway 8. From the town of Merritt to the community of Spences Bridge, Highway 8 delivers 65 kilometers of twists and turns through some of the best desert canyon scenery in B.C.'s southern interior. The town of Merritt is located 90 kilometers south of Kamloops British Columbia in the southern, semi arid portion of the interior plateau. From Merritt Highway 8 winds along beside the Nicola River to it's meeting with the Thompson River at Spences Bridge. Spences Bridge is a small community in the Thompson Canyon, on the banks of the Thompson River.

Alaska 2018 - 42 [beautiful travel days south through Canada]
In this video, we finish up on the Cassiar Highway and make our way towards Vancouver. On the way the views are beautiful on Canada 16, 97, and 1, as always, but the weather was a little scary.
We boondock at the Prince George Walmart, which we’ve done before so we didn’t bother showing it. We tried and failed to get vegan burgers at A&W. Our second overnight was in a pull-out right on Canada 1 in Spences Bridge. Then we start rolling into Vancouver.

Anyone who's been to Banff National Park knows it's one of North America's most scenic parks. It's also a great place to see wildlife. On a recent late spring trip to the park I ran into a group of bighorn sheep, who were as friendly as neighborhood dogs.
Yoho National Park - Trans Canada Highway 1 from Golden, BC into Alberta
This drive begins in the town of Golden, British Columbia and heads east, through Yoho National Park, and into Banff National Park via Trans Canada Highway 1. The video ends after turning north on the Icefields Parkway, Route 93, towards Jasper and the Columbia Icefield.
