Saltery Bay Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located southeast of the city of Powell River, and on the north side of the entrance to Jervis Inlet in the central area of that province's Sunshine Coast region. Saltery Bay Provincial Park was established in 1962 to provide ocean access on the Sunshine Coast of Georgia Strait. The park has both a campground and a day-use area. The day-use area with its rocky beaches is a popular swimming and picnic site. Lush forests with large, old trees create a quiet setting for the campground at Mermaid Cove. 1. Britannia Mine Museum Britannia Beach
Britannia Beach is a small unincorporated community in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District located approximately 55 kilometers north of Vancouver, British Columbia on the Sea-to-Sky Highway on Howe Sound. It has a population of about 300. It includes the nearby Britannia Creek, a small to mid-sized stream that flows into Howe Sound that was historically one of North America's most polluted waterways. The community first developed between 1900 and 1904 as the residential area for the staff of the Britannia Mining and Smelting Company. The residential areas and the mining operation were physically interrelated, resulting in coincidental mining and community disasters through its history. Sunshine Coast Trail (free cabin stay at Tin Hat Mountain Cabin )

Here is the completed video of the Tin Hat mountain cabin up in behind Powell River on the Sunshine Coast Trail. Remember, you can stay here for free! I am so impressed by what the people who build these places are doing. It sure is amazing the dedication these people have to bettering our beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Coast of British Columbia is a largely undiscovered area on the west coast of Canada. It stretches from Gibsons in the South all the way North to Powell River and Lund on the upper Sunshine Coast. Lund is at the most northerly point of Highway 101.
