Iron horse park is one of the largest 7 1⁄2 in gauge railway in Canada. The park is run by volunteers. The Alberta Model Engineering Society promotes education in Alberta about most things engineering around railways. The journeys are used to educate both kids and adults on both modern and old steam engines.
