2. Col du SoulorArrens Marsous Col du Soulor is a mountain pass in the Pyrenees in France, linking Argelès-Gazost with Arthez-d'Asson. It connects the Ouzom and Arens valleys. A road leaves the pass to the west to reach the higher Col d'Aubisque. The road over the col is regularly used in the Tour de France cycling race, normally in conjunction with the Col d'Aubisque. Day 6 in Pyrenees: Col du Soulor.
This one felt slightly less difficult after Tourmalet, Ardiden and 2 x Hautacam, but still a category HC climb. The ride however was a bit longer than the rest due to our base in Luz St Sauveur ... and much of the climb was either in the mist or a cloud. Almost zero views, but we made it nevertheless.
Ian continued on to Col d'Aubisque while the two of us turned around and rode back to the base which is what is recorded on this extra long video.
