DRIVE LAKE GARDA

We start driving from Riva del Garda on the east side of the lake. The drive takes you through some really beautiful towns and villages: Torbole, Malcesine, Pai, Torri del Benaco a.s.o. I wish that we had time to stop and visit some places or just stop every 2 km to take pictures.
The drive takes around 1h 15 min., if you drive toward Verona, from Bardolino another 30 min.

Gelegen am südlichen Ufer, ist das pittoreske, gemütliche Städtchen ( ca. 29.000 Einwohner, Provinz Brescia, größte Stadt am Garda See ) ausgestattet mit reichhaltiger Gelegenheit zu `Speis und Trank´ und - etwas außerhalb des Zentrums - einer Shopping-Mall.
Für Selbstversorger ist der Markt köstliche Pflicht.

Cassone ( Cason in Venetian ) is a place on the bank of the north - east of Lake Garda , a hamlet of the town of Malcesine , in the province of Verona. The country is crossed by the river Aril , which, with its 175 meters in length, is the shortest river in Italy and one of the shortest in the world (the primacy belongs to the river Reprua which flows into Abkhazia ).

Cassone is located approx. 4 km to the south of the center of Malcesine. The town was immortalized in 1913 by the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt ( 1862 - 1918 ) in the painting Church in Cassone sul Garda ( Kirche in Cassone am Gardasee ) during a visit.

The bell tower houses 5 bells in Mi3 played according to the Campane alla Verona technique. The marina with the windmill is remarkable. The shortest river in the World is 175 m long and it is situated in Cassone, Malcesine.
