Pairi Daiza is a privately owned 55-hectare zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut in Belgium. The animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 4,000 animals.

Antwerp Zoo is a zoo in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, located right next to the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station.
It is the oldest animal park in the country, and one of the oldest in the world, established on 21 July 1843.
Belgium: Night Show In Antwerp Zoo - Children Are Admitted!
Belgium's Antwerp zoo came to life at night on Tuesday (December 30) with a twinkling display of Chinese light sculptures to celebrate the winter holidays.
The China Light festival is the first of its kind in Belgium, where Chinese artists have transformed the gardens of the zoo into a magical landscape of illuminations.
While many of the zoo's regular inhabitants are fast asleep, guests can take a nocturnal walk to find a giant Chinese dragon alongside zebras and giraffes from the African Savannas and frosty penguins from Antarctica.
There is even a Chinese version of Brussels' iconic Manneken-Pis figurine which sprays visitors with water, surprising the companions of visitor Mick Capon from the United Kingdom.
I like the elephants, and the Manneken-Pis. Well, they liked the Manneken-Pis, yeah. They got squirted on, said Capon, who had travelled from Northampton to celebrate the new year in Belgium.
The spectacle's smaller figurines were created in China before being packed up and sent by boat to Antwerp, while larger sculptures such as the dragon were built on site in Belgium with the help of a crane. Ten-year-old Styn Mathyssen from the Netherlands said the mystical beast was his favourite sculpture.
I find fantasy characters very beautiful; it's something typically Chinese, he told Reuters Television.
Styn's mother Ingeborg said it was an experience to be able to visit the zoo outside daytime hours.
Yeah, that was very special for us. I told him this afternoon we would go to the zoo in the night and he was really like: 'Uh? In the night? What can we see in the zoo in the night?' Well, this, she said.
The festival of lights is an age-old tradition in China, with some tracing the origins of the custom to a form of prayer for a good harvest.
Antwerp zoo's enchanting show will see in the new year, lasting until January 18.

A 64Km de Bruselas en la Región Valona se encuentra la ciudad de Mons. Mons es una ciudad pequeña, apenas llega a los 100.000 habitantes, pero su situación geográfica la convirtió en el escenario de muchos acontecimientos capitales de la historia de Europa fruto de los cuales esta ciudad goza de un importante un legado arquitectónico.
Grand Hornu es una de las visitas imprescindibles de la Región Valona y está intimamente ligado a la historia de Bélgica. La historia de este lugar comienza en 1816 cuando el industrial minero Henri De Gorge compra estos terrenos para extraer carbón. En torno a la explotación minera diseñó una ciudad industrial, construyendo 435 casas para los obreros que mantuvieron la actividad minera hasta 1954.
En 1971 comenzó la remodelación de la ciudad industrial de Grand Hornu y 30 años después en 2002 se instala en este impresionaate complejo arquitectónico de estilo Necoclásico, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la Federación de Valonia-Bruselas. Por su estado de conservación y por su valor histórico la ciudad Industrial de Grand Hornu fue declarada Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO en el año 2012.

Due to bot hits historical value and its well-preserved state, the Industrial city of Grand Hornu was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2012.
