Connecticut is one of the most charming of all the American states, known for its rich history, its academia, its beautiful autumns, and its sunny summers by the beach.
With a rustic mix of coastal towns and rural havens, there is a lot to love about this area of New England.
Unlike many US states, Connecticut has access to the coast; calling all surfers, sand lovers and beach bums!
Being on the Atlantic Coast the weather can be harsh at times but when the sun shines over Connecticut it is glorious.
From New Haven to Mystic there is always something to discover in Connecticut.
Mystic, for example, is famous for its Seaport museum which houses ancient sailing ships, and the Mystic Aquarium too that houses the Beluga Whales.

If you've ever driven along Interstate 10 through Casa Grande, you may have spotted a few cross-shaped structures planted in the desert landscape.
For a long time, these objects remained a mystery. In fact, throughout '60s they were part of a top secret government project, CORONA.
During the Cold War, the United States used satellite imaging to spy on the Soviet Union and China.

I go on a day trip to explore Santa Fe, New Mexico by foot. We visit the historic plaza, the Loretto Chapel and it's miraculous staircase, the St. Francis Cathedral, Artsy Canyon Road, and the oldest house in the United States. Then I get lost in the mountains looking for the Tent Rocks, and the road was closed.

Settling down in Casa Grande Arizona and Sophie is Sick / Full time RV living
We've been busy getting settled in Casa Grande AZ. Plus hunting out the best places for inventory. Sophie got sick with the same type of infection she had in Washington. I guess I was very frustrated with the Vets that they cant figure it out. Mike was excited to see the RC track he will be racing at.
