Corbett is an unincorporated community on the Columbia River in eastern Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. It is located on the Historic Columbia River Highway between the Sandy River and Crown Point. Corbett was named for prominent pioneer Senator Henry W. Corbett. Senator Corbett purchased a farm in the area in 1885. After several name changes, the post office in the area was named Corbett in 1895. Corbett's ZIP Code is 97019. Corbett School District runs the Corbett School and the Corbett Charter School.

    Larch Mountain is an extinct volcano near Portland, Oregon. The name is misleading, as no western larch can be found there. It received that name when early lumbermen sold the noble fir wood as larch. The peak can be reached between May and November on paved Larch Mountain Road, 16 miles east of Corbett, Oregon, although the road is closed during the winter and spring months.

One of the features of the park is Rooster Rock, a column of basalt forming a natural obelisk, which stands near the south side of the Columbia River Gorge, in the lee of Crown Point. The park is administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The monolith was noted by the explorers Lewis and Clark in their journal as their camping place on November 2, 1805.
