Firenzuola is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 40 kilometres northeast of Florence. Firenzuola borders the following municipalities: Barberino di Mugello, Borgo San Lorenzo, Castel del Rio, Castiglione dei Pepoli, Monghidoro, Monterenzio, Palazzuolo sul Senio, San Benedetto Val di Sambro, Scarperia. I am going to show you two Florence markets today: San Lorenzo market and mercato centrale or central market. San Lorenzo is an outdoor market while mercato centrale is a great indoor market for fresh produce. At San Lorenzo market, you can find bargains for leather goods. In San Lorenzo market, you can also buy famous Florentine paper. Be sure to bargain hard and watch your backs as it can get crowded. In San Lorenzo market, there is a wide range of pashminas and scarves. No matter what you are looking for, always check the quality. Though the prices are good, sometimes the quality is not so good. Be careful and watch.

On to central market now. Since it is an indoor market, lots of visitors miss it. But as you will see, it is a fantastic place to buy fresh produce and the building is right here in San Lorenzo market. The market has two floors. Generally, fruits and vegetables are on the second floor and cheeses, meats, etc. are on the lower floor. You can even buy some homemade pasta. Central market closes at 2 p.m. so make sure you get here before. I am Ester Salis, showing you Florence.
